20-Year Old Crashes California During Test Drive in Russia(Aug 16, 2012)I highly doubt anybody jumped in the road. The kid obviously put his foot into it and lost control of the car. "something ran out in front of me" has been the go to excuse since the first drunk caveman crashed his wheel.
Nissan Presents All-New Pathfinder(Aug 06, 2012)It resembles the Subaru Outback to me, except with a better grill. No longer an SUV, but a tall wagon. Homogenized design.
Nissan Planning Juke-Based Mini-Z to take on FR-S/BRZ?(Jul 18, 2012)A front wheel drive could hardly be considered in the same class as the Toyobaru. Nissan should make it rear drive, or better, give it the same torque vectoring AWD system that's available in the Juke. Also add a 6 speed manual .
Audi R8 Burns to the Ground in Canada(Jun 28, 2012)Near Ontario? Dufferin street is in the GTA. Coulda just said Toronto. Given the type and location of the car, I'd guess the car exploded itself because it was being driven 60km per hour while attempting to merge will traffic doing 100...
Ward’s Auto Names 2012’s 10 Best Interiors(Apr 17, 2012)For a premium brand car, this interior looks dated to me. I think Infiniti needs to redesign some sheet metal also.
Nissan Introduces 5th Generation Altima(Apr 04, 2012)Yeah, Lexus looks in the grill... I like this. It is what it is; the mid sized segment. Typically their design cues invoke sensibility not sex appeal.
2014 Mazda MX-5 Getting Turbocharged?(Mar 18, 2012)This is the second concept car I've seen with the stupid rear view mirror "pod". I hope they never make it into production. They are the ugliest thing since vents on the front quarter panel. Ugly, ugly, ugly.
Lamborghini Aventador J Revealed - Bring Your Helmets(Mar 06, 2012)That rear view mirror looks like a tacked on afterthought. They should have just put a rear view camera and a small LCD display in the cockpit, otherwise this would be a beautiful car.
The Chevrolet Volt: On Life Support?(Mar 05, 2012)I've seen plenty Volts on the streets in and around Oshawa. These were likely driven by GM execs. I bet sales would have been noticeably better if they were able to make it a 5 seater.
Report: Nissan Contemplating Datsun Revival(Mar 05, 2012)... I like this car. Is it a 510? I learned to drive standard in a 510 wagon that my parents had bought. It was an embarrassment to get picked up from school in, but fun to jump it from hills in the back field.
Report: Nissan Contemplating Datsun Revival(Mar 05, 2012)I'm a little nostalgic about Datsun, but am not a fan of badge engineering. It might be a good idea if they re-introduced Datsun to fill a market that Nissan wasn't tapping into.
Chrysler Sales Surging as GM Stutters(Mar 04, 2012)PJ: I've never owned an Audi, only coveted them. I have read in Consumer Reports and on Edmunds that they aren't as reliable as many other companies. Their re-sale value tends to back that up. Also, a friend of mind had an A4 that dumped it's trans.
Chrysler Sales Surging as GM Stutters(Mar 03, 2012)I'd take a 300 over an Audi if I was paying because Audi doesn't score high in reliability. Audi's are definitely more beautiful inside and out though.
Weekly DFA Update: Video of the Porsche 911 Stuck in Wet Cement(Feb 21, 2012)It's not concrete, it's asphalt. City streets are asphalt, some freeways are concrete. I know because I work on an asphalt crew and am not surprised by this idiot. I see morons do this sort of thing all the time; ignoring road closures and signage.
