Gordon Calls on NASCAR to maintain its Low-Tech Tradition(Jan 27, 2012)@colin. I thought the same until I saw a couple NASCAR drivers do avideo series where they were thrown into different motorsports(drift, rally,rc,etc) and they all performed well enough to compete. BMW M Performance Diesels Arrive: M550d, X5 M50d, X6 M50d(Jan 26, 2012)Really? An entire article dedicated to these cars and you skip reporting on one of the most important functions these cars were developed for...fuel consumption. Don't get me wrong they were developed for the performance minded, but with fuel Eco1st.
Kia GT Arriving in 2013; More Variants Also Expected(Dec 23, 2011)Let me further elaborate on my comment. If Kia is gunning for the likes of mercedes, BMW, Audi, and other luxury brands, the materials used now are subpar. I haven't seen the 2012 lineup so my comment may be off, but I like where their headed.
For Racing Fans: Ford Introduces l-4 Crate Engine(Dec 17, 2011)I don't know about you. But I put long tubes on my stang and a buddies ls1 and we both lost low end torque. Improved hp. But lost some torque. IMO not worth the hassle. Plus headers typically don't come with crate engines
The Ultimate Pony Car Showdown Begins(Nov 26, 2011)I think we should all be happy that Chevy and ford are working their asses off to give us exactly what we want to see. Rather than other companies shaving weight and cylinders...
BMW 1 Series Coupe’s Carbon Roof Revealed(Oct 15, 2011)Please enlighten me to the ways a lightened hood, front splitter, trunk, GT spoiler, roof spoiler, roof panel, front grille and mirror covers "enable" the output of more hp?
First Look: Dodge Charger SRT8(Aug 05, 2011)@Greg. Oh wait..chevy and ford realized their fans deserved better than a dumbed down version of their predecessors and decided not to make them 4 doors to raise sales..the charger was originally designed to be a different car, don't forget that..
Video: 2012 BMW M3 CRT Debuts(Jun 26, 2011)When have they exaggerated power outputs? The new 5.0 supposedly has 415hp. Independent companies consistently dyno the car at just under 400whp, factoring in parasitic drivetrain loss puts the car closer to 440hp ish

Spied: Ford Testing Improved Shelby GT500(Jun 17, 2011)There is no way in hell (at this point in time) ford would put anything smaller than a v8 in the gt500. It would kill the segment and fans. Look how long they are holding on to solid rear..
Honda Performance CR-Z Coming To Le Mans(Jun 11, 2011)Even though I wouldn't be caught dead driving a Honda.. To the comments about the cars lack of race prowess= the cars' in the E3 race class ALL have the same power numbers, and YES this car goes. It had a 10 lap deficit. Caught up. Got 2nd place..
2000hp SF22 Is A Go(May 14, 2011)RWD. Useless for this much power. Im sure they will incorporate a variable boost function allowing every subsequent gear to increase boost. Otherwise this thing might as well have half the power..
2000hp SF22 Is A Go(May 14, 2011)GM is the source for this monster. 572ci big block. Not n/a. Twin turbo. And yea it is really coming. They have some spoken for already. The problem lies in it's driven wheels and it's lack of traction.
Facebook Fans Choose Name For Mustang V6 Package(May 13, 2011)Wow. I read the last few comments, nothing is even about this article. Put the tape measures away. This is about cars not your lives. Nobody on here gives a sh't if your telling the truth or lying. Someone will always dismiss your story..true or not
