Veyron SS Stripped of its 'Fastest' Title(Apr 07, 2013)Since then plenty of people have taken beautiful European designs and thrown in big American engines. Although if there was going to be one car that could be considered one of the best modern examples of this, I would say that the Venom GT is it.
Veyron SS Stripped of its 'Fastest' Title(Apr 07, 2013)It's not as revolutionary as the Cobra. I don't think any car can be considered a modern Cobra because one of the reasons the Cobra is so legendary is because Shelby did things that people hadn't really done before.
Veyron SS Stripped of its 'Fastest' Title(Apr 07, 2013)@Justin - Hennessey is hardly a "little Texas man." He's a huge name in the automotive industry. Also, nobody is hating on him or this car. That being said it's a great car but will certainly not be considered the modern Shelby Cobra.
Top 5 Non-Maserati Maseratis(Apr 06, 2013)I don't see how anyone could call this ugly. It's easily one of the best looking crossovers out there. It's beautiful.
2015 Mustang to Pack Turbo Four?(Oct 21, 2012)How can anybody dislike this? It's beautiful. Oh wait, it's disliked by the same people who actually think Mustangs look good. Carry on.
Playgirls and their Supercars Light up Monaco(Sep 17, 2012)No they're not. That doesn't even make sense. If you're talking about how Playgirl Magazine has dudes in it then you must realize the guys in the magazine aren't called playgirls. It's called Playgirl because girls buy the magazine.
Pagani Building One Last Zonda(Sep 11, 2012)Why stop making them? Considering they are a boutique manufacturer it is completely realistic for them to produce models indefinitely. If people are willing to pay for it (which they are) then continue making them.
What is this Corvette Z06 Chasing?(Jul 25, 2012)I saw a murdered out Z06 today and it was amazing. I normally don't like Vettes and it's not like I don't see them often but for some reason this one really caught my eye. For the first time in my life I wanted a Vette.
BMW Brings its Art Cars to London(Jul 24, 2012)You can't just tack on a beautiful painting to a car and expect it to look good. Unfortunately for some reason CarBuzz decided to leave out of the main gallery the only good example of an art car done right.
BMW Brings its Art Cars to London(Jul 24, 2012)The problem is most of these artists saw these cars simply as canvases. The lines of the car and the car itself need to be incorporated in the design choice. The art needs to have an "in motion" appearance because a car is something designed to move.
Biggest Automotive Missteps: Chevrolet SSR(Jul 23, 2012)Who are you kidding? The sales of all of these retro cars were abysmal because they were ugly. The average consumer doesn't buy a car because of the power plant. They buy it because it looks good and it's practical. These were neither.
Flo Rida Wraps his Veyron in Chrome(Jul 19, 2012)Man, that video was terrible. I saw more of his keys than the actual car. But the wrap isn't bad actually. He basically made it look like the Pur Sang edition Veyron which is my personal favorite. And this is coming from someone who hates chrome.
Smaller Engines for Future Astons?(Jul 17, 2012)It just doesn't make any sense that supercars should be held to the same standard as regular cars. There is not nearly the same volume produced and that should be taken into account. A Veyron shouldn't be subject to the same regulations as a Civic.
Ain’t No Art Like Dirty Car Art(Jun 24, 2012)This is a water scene, but there is also a mountain in the painting. This is a famous Japanese painting called "The Great Wave off Kanagawa." That's Mount Fuji in the background and it's supposed to be that small.
Japanese Tuner Icons: Honda Civic(Jun 24, 2012)...less cylinders, smaller displacement and forced induction. Which is essentially what this "dumb, irrelevant ricer culture" pioneered.
Japanese Tuner Icons: Honda Civic(Jun 24, 2012)@Alex - I don't know if you're trolling or not but you have posted multiple irritating and idiotic comments. I didn't know you were the last word on what is cool. Plenty of people like 4 pots. Of anything, more manufactures are going the way of...
Bugatti Veyron SuperSport Makes its Nurburgring Debut(Jun 15, 2012)I hate when people say it wasn't made to corner well. Yes it's heavy and yes there are other cars that corner better, but the engineers at Bugatti put a lot of effort into making the car feel like it weighs half of what it actually weighs.
