Fail of the Day: Chevrolet Corvette Crashes at Autocross (Nov 24, 2011) Same think happened in my home town several years ago. Older gent in a corvette in a parking lot taking a frown for a ride. He gasses it an plants it nose first into the concrete base of a light pole. Passenger was badly injured, driver was killed.
