For Racing Fans: Ford Introduces l-4 Crate Engine (Dec 18, 2011) Example, headers that give the 6.2L LS3 a nice power boost can really mess with and lower the low end torque on the 6.0L LS2. All because of .2 liters. Maybe your buddy thought bugger was better and the diameter messed with the small 5.7?

And any headers will drop your power if you don't get the right size. The diameter has to be matched up to the combo of displacement and bolt ons and tune.
