Motor Trend's Car of the Year: Cadillac CTS(Nov 07, 2013)This new CTS is amazing. Don't judge unless you've seen and driven in person. I haven't driven one, but it definitely is a looker. Very elegant and poised. American cars are now officially awesome in every way.
Camaro SSL 727 Speedster is Pure Vegas(Nov 07, 2013)Might not be the most tasteful, but the time and effort must've been amazingly long, I respect the work, but I would've done it differently.
Vette Thinks it's a Viper, Appeals to No-one(Oct 30, 2013)It looks "alright". But this is someone who really wanted a Viper, but could only afford an old C4. Probably saved up to buy each Viper accessory, drove it until it broke down, now doesn't have the money to fix it, and decided to try to sell it to make some money.
Pontiac is Dead Because of Obama(Oct 30, 2013)Pontiac's demise isn't the result of any one thing in particular. It was a large combination of different people and variables that resulted in Pontiac being killed off. It's a shame, I would've liked to see what types of models they created in the future. Maybe one day it will be resurrected...
Oh Crap: Another Tesla Model S Burns(Oct 29, 2013)Any car could catch fire, but of course the probability is increased when you add electictricity to the mix. But all cars have a little electricity.
2,000HP Ford GT Clocks 278 MPH Obliterates Texas Mile Record(Oct 29, 2013)Bugatti is a super exclusive performance luxury brand that specializes in making expensive high powered cars for the rich. American auto manufacturers don't serve the same purpose, therefore the only hyper cars made here are ones made in relatively small volumes by specialty auto boutiques. (SSC, Hennessey, etc.)
2,000HP Ford GT Clocks 278 MPH Obliterates Texas Mile Record(Oct 29, 2013)@Jason Like it or not, Hennessey Venom GT. it technically is a production car. Beating a Veyron would be an easy feat for any US automaker(especially Ford and GM) but it doesn't make a good business case for all the development costs.
CTS Vsport is Exactly What Cadillac Needs(Oct 29, 2013)I love the new CTS. Saw a white one at the Chevy dealership the other day and it looked amazing. Much nicer in person than in pictures. If I wasn't so set on getting another Vette I would get one of these.
Viper Sales Are Hurting as the Corvette Arrives(Oct 28, 2013)@Jason But this article has a few statistical numbers. This makes sense though. The Vette and Viper usually appeal to the same people, and if you only want to buy one it's hard not to choose the Vette and save a lot of money and still get tons of performance.
Shelby GT500: Supercar Power on the Cheap(Oct 27, 2013)And btw Mitchell, it's 612hp at the crank, 565 at the wheels. Smartass. I may get in heated debates regarding my favorite car, but at least I'm not an annoying troll that almost everyone despises.
Shelby GT500: Supercar Power on the Cheap(Oct 27, 2013)I have seen him slander races and post that he wishes a complete stranger would have died because he crashed an exotic car. That is just wrong, and I have absolutely no respect or sympathy towards people like him. I don't regret what I said.
Shelby GT500: Supercar Power on the Cheap(Oct 27, 2013)I'm not the least bit immature. I just can't stand someone who talks down to people, trolling or not. This isn't the place to be hateful, and I'm not the type to sit idly by and keep my mouth shut when someone is making the type of remarks that he does.
Viper ACR is So Loud it Sets Off Car Alarms(Oct 27, 2013)Carbuzz has an editor, but every once in a while typos happen. People know what they meant to say, and sometimes it can be a little funny, like this one for example. It's a free app, so nobody should complain. If you pay for something then there is reasoning to complain.
Vantage V12 is the Best Aston Martin You Can Buy(Oct 27, 2013)V12 added weight, I don't see why they didn't just beef up the V8. Aston must not be the most talented when it comes to V8 engines. 512hp isn't that hard to achieve. They should have just replicated an American engine design if they wanted more power.
Shelby GT500: Supercar Power on the Cheap(Oct 26, 2013)@Anthony that was the point. Brian is always being rude, disrespectful, hateful, condescending, and wishing bad things on people, including death. We all have to die, but as far as I'm concerned people like him should go sooner rather than later. I don't regret my statement. Worse things happen to better people every day.
Was The Type 993 The Ultimate 911?(Oct 25, 2013)Hmm... hard to say whether I'd take a 996 over a new 911 turbo. Probably the latter. I respect predecessors, but I'm also a huge fan of progress and successors.
Lutz Confirms Vette-Powered Karmas for 2014(Oct 22, 2013)Also, although great engines, AMG engines aren't as compact, lightweight, and are much more expensive to fix if something goes wrong. I will reiterate. There is a reason that LS engines are such a popular choice. There is a reason you never see a Corvette with a different powerplant. Ever.
Lutz Confirms Vette-Powered Karmas for 2014(Oct 22, 2013)@jt LS engines are a better product. Just because Mercedes makes AMG doesn't mean shit. LS engines have a history of winning and reliability that surpasses all of it's competition. The only reason you say they're "boring" is that you don't have one to experience for yourself.
Cobalt SS VS LS1 Camaro On The Street(Oct 19, 2013)Joshua is correct. But I'm certain that a lot has work has been out into this turbo cobalt. Otherwise this wouldn't have been close at all. And SRT4 neons are okay, but I wouldn't modify one past 550hp personally.
Unfortunately, This C7 Becomes 1st Convertible(Oct 17, 2013)@Will Yes, but at the time of his statement, he is incorrect. He said there was, not will be. Either way, that makes no difference to me. The sheer number produced is to justify the low price that the customer pays. If it was low production it would be just like every other performance car. Pricey.
Unfortunately, This C7 Becomes 1st Convertible(Oct 17, 2013)And furthermore, people of all ages, races, backgrounds, and experience levels buy Corvettes as with any other car. Anyone who categories all of us as a group is a moron.
Unfortunately, This C7 Becomes 1st Convertible(Oct 17, 2013)There aren't tens of thousands of C7 stingrays, there are only a few thousand thus far, and if we are talking about all Corvettes, there are over 1.5 million. :) Wouldn't have it any other way.
Japanese High Tech VS American Muscle(Oct 17, 2013)The GTR is fast as hell to 60 but just no match for a powerful V8 with drag slicks and a decent driver. I think the GTR could've done better in this video but still would've lost by a bit.
Gold Digger Gets Busted in Excellent Video(Oct 16, 2013)That's also why her face is blotted out. Because she was shown in a negative light and they didn't get her granted permission to use her likeness in their video. They didn't even ask I'm sure.
Gold Digger Gets Busted in Excellent Video(Oct 16, 2013)Yeah Blaise, that was the joke... lol. But for people saying this is fake, I'm almost certain it's not. He has a history of making videos to get random people's reactions.
Chevy Camaro Z/28 Laps Ring in 7:37(Oct 15, 2013)"You mean to tell me that the radio isn't even surrounded by 24 karat gold!? Stupid Americans don't know anything about designing interiors...."
Chevy Camaro Z/28 Laps Ring in 7:37(Oct 15, 2013)@Dries Maybe you should sit in a new Camaro or Cadillac before you make offhanded comments that have to present day relevance. American cars have great interiors now. Much better than I would ever need or want, that's for sure.
Lakers-ed Out SL-55 AMG Seeks New Home Court(Oct 14, 2013)The SLS was based off of the previous generation Viper. I watched a video on it. They collaborated on the Viper and basically wanted a "Viper" of their own. So the result was the SLS. Note the long hood and short rear overhang.
C7 Corvette Stingray Vs. Modified C6 Vette(Oct 13, 2013)@Jason I work hard for my money, so you need to shut your mouth about shit you don't know about. Don't even get me started on speculating about your life.
