  • Three-Wheeled Mustang Happily Limps Down the Highway  (Apr 16, 2014) Can you say, "Stolen car"? Or that dank was hella potent.
  • A Hardcore LaFerrari is Coming Soon  (Apr 16, 2014) v Comments have some nice zingers today. I like.
  • 2015 Toyota Camry: "Best We’ve Ever Built"  (Apr 16, 2014) v Good one!
  • 2015 Toyota Camry: "Best We’ve Ever Built"  (Apr 16, 2014) Emotional? Dynamic? Try unwarranted hype. The new design looks ok. Better than the last. That is good. That is all.
  • 2015 Toyota Camry: "Best We’ve Ever Built"  (Apr 16, 2014) v Agreed.
  • GM's CEO Might Be in Deep Sh*t  (Apr 14, 2014) BTW. Where's the story on the worldwide BMW recall I heard about on the morning news? Details please CB. And better ones than what you've served on this GM story.
  • GM's CEO Might Be in Deep Sh*t  (Apr 14, 2014) There's a whole lot off assumptions being made here. Of course being led by an agenda driven media is unfortunately the opiate of too many people.
  • GM's CEO Might Be in Deep Sh*t  (Apr 14, 2014) Was the "steering problem" mentioned even the SAME problem at issue? Lots of questions here inquiring minds SHOULD want to know rather than shooting from the lip.
  • GM's CEO Might Be in Deep Sh*t  (Apr 14, 2014) OK, Barra MAY have been sent an email about a "steering issue". Was the email sent specifically to her or was it of the "spam" variety which I get daily at work and delete without reading? Did she respond to the email and if so what was that response?
  • GM's CEO Might Be in Deep Sh*t  (Apr 14, 2014) Perhaps they meant to say that the vehicles became harder to steer after losing electric power when the ignition switch failed while in motion.
  • GM's CEO Might Be in Deep Sh*t  (Apr 14, 2014) Wait a minute... those cars don't have electric power steering. They have hydraulic power steering. I hate it when the media fails to get their stories right.
  • These are the Top 10 Interiors of 2014  (Apr 11, 2014) v Yeah! What he said.
  • Say Hello to the 2015 Lexus NX  (Apr 11, 2014) Wouldn't buy one but it looks very good.
  • Porsche Sees Tesla as a Real Threat  (Apr 10, 2014) Tesla stock took a big dump today. I wonder why?
  • What Changes is Dodge Planning for the Challenger?  (Apr 08, 2014) @ Bruce tell that to Porsche!
  • Lexus Lashes Out at Audi, BMW and Mercedes  (Apr 07, 2014) I don't like when anyone makes dubious statements like this commercial. Let the product (which has been reviewed as excellent) stand on it's own merits. Lexus makes excellent cars that have a super low cost of ownership and high resale value.
  • Lexus Lashes Out at Audi, BMW and Mercedes  (Apr 07, 2014) All three named German automakers make fwd cars. the Mercedes CLA is fwd. BMW does also IF you count Mini. But that's cheating if you ask me. All three manufacturers DO produce cars with cloth seating. But here again can those cars be described as "luxury" even if the same models are classified luxury if properly equipped?
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) Sounds like every small European car I've owned/driven. Most European cars period. I do have a small frame of reference having lived in Germany from 1975 to 1980.
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) America's other urban centers that is.
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) I agree it looks nice and has above average interior space, but it isn't catching on. If it isn't making it in the California Bay Area then it has a problem in America.
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) This doesn't deserve a racing stripe.
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) This doesn't look anything like a Neon.
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) vv what???
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) Rumor is Avenger is going RWD. That would be very interesting if true. I thought Avenger was being discontinued. Compact RWD cars are like unicorns.
  • Has the Dodge Dart Been a Sales Flop?  (Apr 05, 2014) The answer is: YES.
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) This isn't a "car". It is a TRUCK. A BODY ON FRAME TRUCK! I don't know who came up with that SUV nonsense but this is an awsome vehicle that's always missed one thing... a diesel engine option which is available on the standard HD trucks.
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) Old people have money that young people don't. I just saw an older woman (she looked to be in her late 60s- early 70s rocking a beautiful 2014 Camaro SS 1LE on the streets of Alameda, CA.
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) OK Mitchell we get it. You hate Escalades. Your loss.
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) vv So you and what other authority gets to decide what I "need" or what is "practical" form me to buy with my own money?
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) 3rd row of my old Suburban had more legroom than the European SUV rival's FRONT seats I'd reckon. I used to seat 8 ADULT PEOPLE COMFORTABLY in my first Suburban going on long trips.
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) Of course it's easy to be "class leader" when there's no one else in your class.
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) Actually Escalade XL/Suburban/Denali XL all have class leading leg room and always has. You do realize those seats track backwards and forwards. The current position you see is to allow for easy 3rd row ingress/egress.
  • The 2015 Escalade’s Supple Interior and More Details  (Apr 05, 2014) How many people posting on CB criticizing CUE have actually used it on a day-to-day basis? My guess is zero and most are parroting the critiques of car reviewers who uniformly parrot othe reviewers. My understanding is that people who actually buy the cars with CUE aren't bedeviled by it at all and actually like it. Imagine that!
  • Introducing the New and Improved Arrinera Hussarya  (Apr 05, 2014) vv What YOU want is irrelevant. What the car builder wanted was an LS. And what other purpose is an LS built for?
  • Dodge Challenger Mopar Edition Sold Out in 1 Day  (Apr 03, 2014) I can't find anything not to like here.
  • M4 Convertible Seen and Heard at Nurburgring Testing  (Mar 31, 2014) Profile looks good. Not drop dead gorgeous but good. Not aspirational as some have appeared in the past. Head on is lacking something for a 3 series M.
  • M4 Convertible Seen and Heard at Nurburgring Testing  (Mar 31, 2014) Doesn't sound that good, especially for an M car. Maybe this isn't what the production car will sound like. Very much pedestrian aurally I think.
  • M4 Convertible Seen and Heard at Nurburgring Testing  (Mar 31, 2014) The M4 looks ok but the M3 is a disappointment. BMW needs to step it up because the 3 series has been resting on it's laurels the past few years. Dodgy, cheap interior materials on the 4cyl models. The 3 series has made it's bones being a "driver's car". Not so much lately.
  • Big Changes in the Auto Industry Are Coming  (Mar 31, 2014) The Model S is a very nice looking car in my eyes. Better than most in fact.
  • Big Changes in the Auto Industry Are Coming  (Mar 31, 2014) I work in the San Francisco Bay Area and drive all over this sucker. and I've seen exactly two C7s to date.
  • Big Changes in the Auto Industry Are Coming  (Mar 31, 2014) Hey Tara, how long do you suppose Musk's "free" charging will last once he gets the electric car market relatively cornered? Sooner than that the politicians will muscle in to get their 'cut' in revenue for their favorite social programs to replace their tax losses at the gas pump.
  • First Shelby GT 350 VIN #0001 for $495,000  (Mar 31, 2014) Saw a numbers matching unrestored black (only 83 produced in that color) 1971 429 Cobra Jet Mustang go for under $200k at a Barrett-Jackson auction on Gas Monkey Garage last week. I was shocked at that so maybe not so surprised by this low price. Richard. thought for sure he'd found a $500k money. maker.
  • First Shelby GT 350 VIN #0001 for $495,000  (Mar 31, 2014) Perhaps BECAUSE it's a RHD the asking price is lower? Puzzling the price so low even still but perhaps the market for American muscle era cars has gone soft. The economy is not so good here where the biggest market for classic American iron exists. Just guessing.
  • 1970 Chevelle LS6 Convertible 454/450HP  (Mar 31, 2014) vv That is correct. Definitely not numbers matching.
  • 1970 Chevelle LS6 Convertible 454/450HP  (Mar 31, 2014) vv Amen and amen. You've got it but can you keep it?
  • 1970 Chevelle LS6 Convertible 454/450HP  (Mar 31, 2014) Such the glorious and riotous past. Can you imagine the insurance on this beast back then?
  • Volcano Red McLaren P1 Delivered in SF  (Mar 31, 2014) Whoever owns this whip better drive it with an armed escort.
  • Volcano Red McLaren P1 Delivered in SF  (Mar 31, 2014) The roads in California are horrible! I drive at least 200 miles 5 days a week or more on them. Roll expensive wheels a low profile meats at your own risk because we have potholes. BIG potholes.
  • “Small Package Parking” is the Ultimate Lot Prank  (Mar 31, 2014) vvSo they don't have fat people in the butthurt county you're a pissant denizen of. You must come from one of those backasswards countries with grocery stores with empty shelves. Like Venezuela or England. Obesity is an indication of wealth in a nation. So I guess yours is poor as hell.
  • Trion SuperCars to Build 2000HP American Hypercar  (Mar 31, 2014) Something just isn't right.
  • Trion SuperCars to Build 2000HP American Hypercar  (Mar 31, 2014) I've definitely seen this before.
  • Trion SuperCars to Build 2000HP American Hypercar  (Mar 31, 2014) Not bad from this view.
  • Trion SuperCars to Build 2000HP American Hypercar  (Mar 31, 2014) Uh... nope.
  • Trion SuperCars to Build 2000HP American Hypercar  (Mar 31, 2014) Of course police make money off citations. What kind of stupid comment is that? Police work for and get paid by the same institutions that receive the money from citations. And please stop glamorizing the police. They do a job.. not always good... but they are rapidly growing into just another militarized gang in many jurisdictions.
  • Trion SuperCars to Build 2000HP American Hypercar  (Mar 31, 2014) Uh Hennessey is a small company and they do pretty good. Tesla is too. What's size got to do with it?
  • Ford’s Hybrid Commercial Spoofs ELR ‘Rich Douche’ Spot  (Mar 29, 2014) So CB gets out of the Caddy commercial that it identifies only rich WHITE American men as hardworking? Whoever wrote that is a racist POS! I identify with that commercial and I don't identify as white and I ain't rich.... yet.
  • Track Terrors: Chevy Camaro Z/28 and Nissan GT-R Bump Heads  (Mar 29, 2014) NOBODY liked the GT-R in the 3-way. Three testers. Three last places. Hmmm.
  • Track Terrors: Chevy Camaro Z/28 and Nissan GT-R Bump Heads  (Mar 29, 2014) Oh, and Randy Pobst was the guest professional test driver in the 3-way. HE chose the Z28 over the Porsche Turbo also. Amazing.
  • Track Terrors: Chevy Camaro Z/28 and Nissan GT-R Bump Heads  (Mar 29, 2014) Just don't read the 3-way battle of the Z28/GT-R/Porsche 911 Turbo test by Motor Trend on both the street and track. Z28 smoked both cars on the track and was the preferred choice on the ROAD by two of the three testers even over the Porsche! Let the butthurt begin!
  • Track Terrors: Chevy Camaro Z/28 and Nissan GT-R Bump Heads  (Mar 29, 2014) Bogus! Motor Trend tested the Z28 against both the GT-R AND the Porsche Turbo whipping both at the track and on the road. And did it going away!
  • Why is Ferrari Fighting a 21-Year Old?  (Mar 28, 2014) The keywords here are that it was HIS FB fan page, not Ferrari's. HIS PROPERTY. NOT FERRARI'S. He can sell whatever he likes on HIS page! Furthermore Ferrari encouraged him when the saw all the great attention his page was giving the company. Apparently they hadn't yet grasped the potential of Facebook at that time. Now they do and they want to kick the kid to the curb. Classic.
  • These Are the Best 4 States For Driving Fast  (Mar 28, 2014) Hey Harry, did the Z06 driver nearly hit your Porsche or did he just scare the crap out of you when the Z06 blew by you? I bet you were driving down the road not really paying attention like many of us are guilty of doing when this guy ripped past exhaust blaring. Startled the crap out of you.
  • These Are the Best 4 States For Driving Fast  (Mar 28, 2014) Most modern cars are fully capable to safely traverse properly maintained highways at a sustained 100+mph. At least if equipped with the proper tires rated for those speeds. As for the abilities of the drivers...
  • These Are the Best 4 States For Driving Fast  (Mar 28, 2014) American drivers SHOULD be enjoying the most and best maintained roads and highways in the world based on the taxes users/drivers pay in gas taxes that originally were supposed to do exactly that but instead have been pirated by the nanny state to fund mass transit and other socialist programs.
  • These Are the Best 4 States For Driving Fast  (Mar 28, 2014) Why are some of you so consumed by this unjustified paranoia about speed limits and safety? Have Americans truly mostly surrendered to being mind numbed robots believing everything the nanny state and their civilian agents spew out their rectums?
  • These Are the Best 4 States For Driving Fast  (Mar 28, 2014) 40 years ago cars had poorer brakes and handling on average than today. In other words for you folks afflicted with the brainwashing of the nanny state, cars today are safer and more capable today than in 1973. There are more and better roads (though not well maintained in some states) than 40 years past.
  • These Are the Best 4 States For Driving Fast  (Mar 28, 2014) American frame of reference is both lacking and telling. Before the 1973 Arab/OPEC oil embargo the average national highway speed limit was north of 70 mph. Jimmy Carter and the nanny state seized the opportunity to lower the national speed limit to 55 mph claiming a national emergency to conserve energy.
  • Aston Martin Really Wants New Models  (Mar 25, 2014) vv Bingo!
  • America Needs the Mercedes CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake  (Mar 25, 2014) Who beat this cat with an ugly stick? Dang! Trust me America doesn't want this.
  • Is the Camaro Z/28 as Good as They Say?  (Mar 25, 2014) This car will be so highly collectible in the future because it will be so rare! If I had the bucks I'd definitely buy two. One to sell down the road and the other to drive the wheels off.
  • BMW i8 Undergoes Review by Customers  (Mar 22, 2014) Has anyone ever heard a Tesla S in operation? No lovely sounds at all. From a stop to acceleration in makes very annoying clicks and clacks. Likely the driver/passengers can't hear this but it doesn't sound worthy of six figures.
  • BMW i8 Undergoes Review by Customers  (Mar 22, 2014) I'd take the sound of a 5.0 Coyote V8 over that of any 3/4/6 cylinder engine and most 8/10/12 cylinder engines for that matter.
  • BMW i8 Undergoes Review by Customers  (Mar 22, 2014) vv Sorry to hear that about your Mustang GT. Is it I'll? perhaps it's time to euthanize it? Seriously sounds are a critical part of what people pay ridiculous amounts of money for in performance. cars. One can go very fast by nitrous in a Yugo but why?
  • 2015 Mercier-Jones Supercraft is the Veyron of Hovercrafts  (Mar 20, 2014) First off if they're street legal where exactly is that? Crash tested? And hover craft are notoriously loud. I don't think this will be street legal. Off road only.
  • Despite Hopes, No ELR-V for Cadillac  (Mar 19, 2014) What was Cadillac thinking?
  • Despite Hopes, No ELR-V for Cadillac  (Mar 19, 2014) ATS-V will be awesome but just too expensive. Even the base model is too costly.
  • Despite Hopes, No ELR-V for Cadillac  (Mar 19, 2014) Gorgeous pos.
  • Despite Hopes, No ELR-V for Cadillac  (Mar 19, 2014) No effin way.
  • Despite Hopes, No ELR-V for Cadillac  (Mar 19, 2014) Uh, they're still making the hybrid, just no high performance "V" version. So I guess you can go open a vein now. The only reason GM is building this heresy is because of the EPA and the stupid CAFE regs. I still can't believe they put a Cadillac brand on this disaster.
  • Barn-Find: Single-Owner 1969 Mustang Shelby GT500  (Mar 19, 2014) Let me guess who found it: Wayne Carini?
  • Barn-Find: Single-Owner 1969 Mustang Shelby GT500  (Mar 19, 2014) vv His money. He can (and did) do what he pleased with his car. You don't even know his circumstances. Perhaps he became disabled to be able to drive his beloved 'Stang. I know this much for certain: the tax man cometh.
  • First 2015 Corvette Z06 Headed for Auction  (Mar 13, 2014) My dream is the Corvette Experience and help build the engine of my own Z06 and have my own nameplate on it.
  • First 2015 Corvette Z06 Headed for Auction  (Mar 13, 2014) Lol!!! How many times I read Carbuzz denizens absolutely rag on the C7's headlights and tail lights, but now almost everyone loves the same exact lighting on the Z06. I'm happy people see what I did in the C7 all along. All it took was some cool paint, a little carbon fiber and a big ol' butt.
  • Tesla Expects Asia and Europe to Dwarf American Sales  (Mar 12, 2014) Very odd. Tesla wants to open sales/service centers in foreign countries but only wants to direct sell here in the US which the states are fighting, by not allowing Tesla sales in their states unless Tesla olds sales/service centers in the state. I get that its all about jobs and taxes but why do in other countries but not in your home country? Just saw that story on the news. What gives?
  • Brabus at Geneva 2014  (Mar 10, 2014) LEDs are here to stay. Lots more bright light with way less energy consumed and heat produced. Huge reflectors aren't needed anymore either which is why designers are having difficultly incorporating lighting not dependent on traditional appearance. People expect headlights to look a certain way on cars.
  • Brabus at Geneva 2014  (Mar 10, 2014) What fun this thing must be to drive with all the added horsepower. Probably scare the crap out of the driver in a parking lot. Actually, where could you park this monster even in a normal American sized space? Where I live big trucks like Excursions have room to spare.
  • Brabus at Geneva 2014  (Mar 10, 2014) Lol! At least Sam Cockford is consistent. Consistently wrong but no deviations from his norm. I can genuinely respect that.
  • 2004 Maybach Covers One Million Miles and Then Some  (Mar 10, 2014) I am not hating on this guy. Respect for him and his car. Didn't the 62 have 600hp+? I thought the 57 too was kinda cool being so over the top luxurious. Just had a goofy looking exterior.
  • 2004 Maybach Covers One Million Miles and Then Some  (Mar 10, 2014) Orange? Are you people colorblind or just over-the-top critical as usual?
  • 2004 Maybach Covers One Million Miles and Then Some  (Mar 10, 2014) 1million miles in ten years? I can see that but gas is like more than 2x+ in EU than here in the States. No problem for a rich guy but the dude must be scared to death of flying.
  • The 2015 Mustang's Interior is a Mighty Fine Place to Be  (Mar 09, 2014) Why is it that there's many European sports coupes bigger and heavier (in most cases MUCH bigger and heavier), but only Challenger gets criticized for being "too big" (whatever that's supposed to mean) and the ever popular Eurocentric "boat" diss?
  • Pictures Alone Don't Do the 2015 Mustang Justice  (Mar 09, 2014) The herd ragged on the C7 at first too. My how that tune has changed.
  • Pictures Alone Don't Do the 2015 Mustang Justice  (Mar 09, 2014) "Not to their level"? This is why I can't stand Europe and Europeans. When Putin comes to snatch your tired ungrateful asses up the next time I hope we're smart enough to not waste our blood and treasure again. You don't have ANYTHING we want or need much less envy. Maybe that's why you piss on everything American as inferior. Jealous?
  • First Candy Apple Red Boss 429 Built and Sold Heading to Auction  (Mar 08, 2014) Looking at this awesome car I can imagine comments like it rides too high, or the wheels are too small, or the rims are too... whatever... from CB denizens. I'd take this over most modern iron any day. Of course I'm from this car's era so it speaks to my automotive soul.
  • First Candy Apple Red Boss 429 Built and Sold Heading to Auction  (Mar 08, 2014) Young boys to grown men loved this car back in the day. My dad wanted a Boss but the insurance was too high. Settled for a garden variety 'Stang. He owned a quite a few over the years.
  • Chrysler is Crushing 93 First-Gen Vipers  (Mar 08, 2014) What does Fiat care? They're just damned Dodges after all. Not important. Molar mavens can suck it as far as Fiat is concerned. I'm wondering if they'd do the same to a Ferrari/Maserati/Lamborghini presented with the same circumstance. I think not.
  • Some Insane Facts About the Koenigsegg One:1  (Mar 08, 2014) I wish someone would get hold of all these supercars and do a comparison. Likely no manufacturer would cooperate but maybe private owners?
  • Some Insane Facts About the Koenigsegg One:1  (Mar 08, 2014) The capabilities of cars these days just continue to amaze. If tree-huggers, safety-Nazis and all the rest of the control freaks had their way I wonder what Carbuzz would look like.
  • Will GMC Bring Hummer Back to Life?  (Mar 08, 2014) The same kinds of "people" who do the same to a G-wagen. Try "people"like AMG!
  • Will GMC Bring Hummer Back to Life?  (Mar 08, 2014) In many respects the H2 is better than the H1 which is a female dog to drive or ride in on road for any thing longer than an hour. The H1 can go places off road the H2 can't but by the same token the H1 is too wide to go where the H2 can in the same environment. The H2 is a compromise but a very capable one off road and on road there's no contest. Too bad they have so much tranny trouble.
