2015 Mustang Already Being Recalled(Oct 20, 2014)@David: That is true. My Mom and I work for a lady who owns a BMW 3 Series wagon. I've seen paperwork on her desk that has to do with recalls.
2015 Mustang Already Being Recalled(Oct 20, 2014)They can be a good thing, and they can be a bad thing. Honestly, I don't ever remember hearing of much recalls from older Mustangs. I think the older ones were/are better. But, I knew this would happen.
Americans Still Think Kia Cars are Crap(Oct 15, 2014)They need to find their own styling with the big cars. Hyundai should at least put their badges on their big high end cars. They don't look like Hyundais and that's a problem.
Americans Still Think Kia Cars are Crap(Oct 15, 2014)My mother and grandmother still have that stigma against Kia and Hyundai. I told them that they really have improved over the years. The only thing about Hyundai and Kia, is that they try to compete to closely to those big expensive cars.
What the Hell Were They Thinking: Pontiac Aztek(Oct 04, 2014)I wouldn't call it the worst car built, since from what I can remember it didn't suffer from reliability problems. It's only problem was the looks of it, and that's no reason to call it a bad car. The Ford Pinto is something I would call worst built.
Ignition Drama Once Again; Chrysler Recalls 350,000 Cars(Sep 28, 2014)It's all because people are buying Toyotas so fast, that they are having to build them faster. That will put a damper on quality. The only car I really recommend as of right now is a Honda (preferably an Accord).
Too Soon to Say Goodbye to the Mazda5 MPV(Aug 31, 2014)It would have cost a bunch of money to fix. There are numerous complaints on the MPV for lifter problems. A lot of them make a ticking or a knocking noise.
Too Soon to Say Goodbye to the Mazda5 MPV(Aug 31, 2014)Anyone remember the Mazda MPV? They had lifter troubles. My mom bought a 1993 brand new around when I was born, and it had a ticking and knocking noise. So, she took it in to the dealer and they said it was the lifters.
These Were the 10 Most Stolen Cars of 2013(Aug 22, 2014)These are all actually popular vehicles, meaning lots of people buy them. As with the Caravan, look online and you will see numerous reports of theft for it. One problem for the Caravan, is that it doesn't have the alarm system as standard.
Will Hyundai Battle Lexus with a New Premium Crossover?(Aug 20, 2014)I don't agree with them copying other automakers. They need their own design language and they need to put Hyundai badges on all of their cars so that people will know it's a Hyundai. They've even got Kia a luxury car now, and that makes no sense.
Dodge Charger Hellcat Eats up the Track(Aug 16, 2014)Update: My grandmother said ever since she bought her 2005 Grand Caravan new, it had that whine when driven for a while which is when the engine and everything heats up. So, it's always had it. Never had anything to go wrong as far as when it wh
Dodge Charger Hellcat Eats up the Track(Aug 15, 2014)The Chargers have not been reported with the whine. The Challengers have though. I listed the main ones with the whine on this earlier. Read them. Not once did I mention the Charger. I know it's got a Supercharged whine.
Dodge Charger Hellcat Eats up the Track(Aug 15, 2014)The Pentastar engines have a whine, but it's just the sound of the engine when it's shifting. The Dodge Journeys, Stratuses, Avengers, Rams, and Caravans are all known for this whine. The 2001-2007 Caravan's whine sounds like an old siren.
Dodge Charger Hellcat Eats up the Track(Aug 15, 2014)I read on a forum where the reason why the 2001-2007 Caravans have that high pitch whine is because of a fuel pump going bad. It happens when the engine is warmed up and it's been driven for a while.
Dodge Charger Hellcat Eats up the Track(Aug 15, 2014)@BoldCars: So, did I. @Pablo: All Dodges have a whine. The Pentastar V6 has a whine. It's evident in the Grand Caravans. The 2005 Caravans have a bad whine when driven for a while. It's called the Dodge whine.
GM Fast-Tracking Next-Gen Full-Size Trucks(Jul 31, 2014)She traded it for a 1999 Lincoln Navigator. If you a want a lousy and cheap vehicle that costs a fortune to fix and buy, then buy a Navigator or Expedition. She isn't the only one I've heard of that has problems out of these Navigators.
GM Fast-Tracking Next-Gen Full-Size Trucks(Jul 31, 2014)Okay. I've got a story. My grandmother had a 1997 Ford Explorer that she bought new. It was an all around great and nice SUV with leather interior, you name it. But, as it got older she began to have little problems with it.
GM Fast-Tracking Next-Gen Full-Size Trucks(Jul 30, 2014)I know a mechanic who works for the Ford dealership in my little town of Pell City, Alabama. He said that Ford trucks are always in the shop for engine problems. So, GM has had problems. Well, so has Ford. No company is perfect.
GM Fast-Tracking Next-Gen Full-Size Trucks(Jul 29, 2014)My Uncle has a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado and it's still going. He had to replace something in the engine last year, but that's it engine wise. The cloth padding on the passenger side door has peeled though. My
Chrysler's New Big Crossover Will Have a Minivan Platform(Jul 27, 2014)They should have removed the Town & Country instead of the Grand Caravan. The Grand Caravan came before the Town & Country. However, I did hear that Sergio said he wasn't dropping the Caravan name, just the Grand part.
What Are Today's Most Popular Car Body Styles?(Jul 19, 2014)Has anyone ever noticed how the b pillar between the front doors and rear doors as well as the c pillar before the quarter window has a glossy finish? But, then when you look at the front pillar where the mirror is, it's not glossy.
Could the 2016 Cadillac SRX Really be Made in China?(Jul 09, 2014)@Adrian: Well, excuse me for being so dumb and thank you for being so smart. To the person who said Fiat/Chrysler is doing a good job. You're wrong. Marchionne is screwing up, and he needs to take some advice from Iacocca.
