This is the most race-ready Lamborghini that money can buy.
Yesterday, Lamborghini teased a big reveal of something extremely special. Today, the company unveiled the new Huracan Super Trofeo EVO. The car was announced at an exclusive event in Sant’Agata Bolognese and celebrates a new partnership with Swiss luxury watchmaker Roger Dubuis. We have already seen a GT3 version of the Huracan, and this new model is set to compete in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo one-make series. Lamborghini says that this new car has even higher aerodynamic efficiency than before.
The aim of this new car was to improve aerodynamic efficiency while keeping the downforce of the previous model. Lamborghini designed a new body kit for this car that was co-developed with Dallara Engineering. The car's livery is meant to show off the partnership with Roger Dubuis, which will begin in 2018.

Watches and racing seem to go together well. Lamborghini says that two brands share an "ongoing pursuit of excellence, the search for innovative materials, and obsessive attention to detail during the production of their precision instruments."
Lamborghini did not give any engine or performance specs, but expect the same RWD drivetrain powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine (which makes 611 horsepower in the non EVO Super Trofeo) and the normal six-speed sequential gearbox as the LP 620-2 Super Trofeo. Prices in the US will start at $295,000 and the car will make its track debut in the Spring of 2018. Any race team that has the current Super Trofeo car can also buy the body kit to upgrade to the EVO.
