This is what American muscle is all about.
Only the other day we learned that the refreshed 2018 Ford Mustang GT will go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds, which is faster than a $94,000 Porsche 911 Carrera. Today, Ford has announced pricing for the 2018 Mustang, and it’s still an awesome bargain, despite being more expensive. The entry-level, 2.3-liter EcoBoost Mustang with 310 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque begins at $25,585, which is $400 more than the 2017 model.

Remember, the Mustang 300 hp V6 is dead, but despite the price hike, the Mustang EcoBoost is more powerful, so it’s still a good deal. And, it’s worth noting, the previous Mustang EcoBoost based at $26,195. More power, for less money. Nice. However, that’s where the price savings end. The 2018 Mustang GT begins at $35,095, a $1,900 increase from last year’s model. Fortunately, as we already knew, the updated Mustang GT comes with an upgraded 5.0-liter V8, now producing 460 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, an increase of 25 ponies and 20 lb-ft. So you give some, and you get some.

Last up is the 2018 Mustang GT350. It will start off at $57,145, which is $1,000 more than last year. The 5.2-liter flat plane crank V8 returns unchanged, and therefore performance ought to be the same. For those so inclined, Ford has also launched the 2018 Mustang configurator online.
