About time we head on over to Italy.
As part of Ferrari’s 70th anniversary celebrations, the Italian carmaker has announced the opening of two new exhibitions in its official museum in Maranello, Italy. The two exhibitions, Under the Skin and Infinite Red, were inaugurated with the likes of CEO Sergio Marchionne, Vice President Piero Ferrari, and Maranello Mayor Massimiliano Morini on hand. These two new exhibits extend the museum’s size by more than 600 square meters, for a grand total of 4,100 square meters.

A multifunctional space of about 300 square meters, which can host up to 250 people for events, has also been built. Specifically, Under the Skin was created in partnership with the London Design Museum, celebrating the engineering development of Ferrari through the years beginning with the first Ferrari, the 125 S. It also recalls how Enzo Ferrari was at the forefront of automotive technology in his time. Infinite Red, as its name suggests, celebrates 70 years of the Prancing Horse with some of the greatest Ferraris ever built. Examples include various Formula One cars driven by Alberto Ascari and Michael Schumacher, among other greats.

There are also some iconic GT cars, such as several from the 250 family like 250 GT Berlinetta "Tdf" and 250 GTO. And, of course, greats like the F50, Enzo, LaFerrari and the non-homologated FXX K are also on site. Under the Skin will be open until this November while Infinite Red will remain until the end of the year.
