Fortunately, things turned out just fine, and its new naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 155 hp and 148 lb-ft of twist is an absolute gem. Our tester, of course, came with the standard six-speed manual, sending power to the rear wheels. There is a six-speed slushbox option, but it deserves no further mention. The new MX-5 RF
is also just hitting the market and it’s a gorgeous targa and all, but we still have a thing for the manual soft top. Keeps things both easier and lighter; the spirit of a true roadster. Special thanks to DGDG.com
for letting us film the car.
