Techart has spruced up the Porsche Panamera sedan into a lean and mean machine.
Following its work on the Porsche 911 Cabriolet, German tuner Techart has turned its attention to the Panamera. While the luxury sedan recently got a speed boost with the 680-horsepower Turbo S E Hybrid, its modest looks disguised its savage power. Called the GrandGT, Techart has spruced up the sedan with a bodykit that gives it a more aggressive aesthetic, yet it's surprisingly subtle for Techart's standards. Dominating the front is a distinctive front apron with an integrated splitter and larger air intakes that optimize the airflow.

The bumper also now houses the radar sensors of the adaptive cruise control.
The weight of the Panemara has been reduced too, thanks to the GrandGT’s lightweight carbon fiber hood with a powerdome running down the middle, while side skirts and more prominent wheel arches give it a sportier appearance - it’s leaner, but also meaner. Completing the exterior modifications is a larger rear diffuser with carbon fiber accents and a fixed rear spoiler. Techart also says the width of the Panemara has been increased by 50 mm at the front and 80 mm at the rear, and also features a set of 22-inch wheels with 285/30 tires at the front and 335/25 tires at the rear which increase the contact patch.

Customers can tailor the interior to their personal preference, using a combination of leather and alcantara, lacquered, and carbon materials. The example shown in the accompanying press photos show the interior decorated with orange accents that match the brake calipers. Techart promises extensive customization options for the GrandGT – even the paddle shifters can be trimmed in leather or alcantara. It also features a new Type-7 sport steering wheel that’s smaller than the stock wheel with a diameter of 360 mm. Techart will apply the GrandGT bodykit to the entire Panamera range, from the base model right up to the Turbo S E-Hybrid.
