With four high-performance inboard motors and four individual gearboxes, the Nio EP9 has 1 MegaWatt or 1,341 horsepower at its disposal, putting it on par, in terms of ouput at least, with a Koenigsegg One:1. Revealed in London late last year
, the Nio EP9, built by Chinese carmaker NextEV, has a bit of the Swedish hypercar maker in its styling too. Seen here for the first time in Shanghai, we can confirm it looks absolutely sublime in the metal, or to be more precise, in the carbon. The EP9 has a carbon cockpit and chassis, after all.
