The eight-seat MPV was designed for the Indian market – Chevrolet even declared that the Enjoy is equipped with the “highest standards of safety.” When this was put to the test by Global NCAP, the results are damning, to say the least. It probably shouldn’t come as a surprise however when you consider that the entry-level trim doesn’t have any airbags. During a frontal offset impact at 40 mph, the Chevrolet Enjoy was awarded a zero-star safety rating for adult occupant protection as driver front passenger injuries would have been “unacceptably high,” or possibly fatal. Rear seat child occupation protection scored slightly better, with a two-star safety rating. Higher trim levels only offer two airbags.
