510-horsepower not enough for you? Try 700.
Since it’s the most powerful 911 Porsche has ever produced, the potent Porsche 911 GT2 RS has been one of the most talked about car launches of the year. And now there’s a German wagon that can match its blistering pace: presenting the Mercedes-AMG C63 modified by German tuner Vath, which has transformed the already-potent wagon into a 700-hp beast with an obscene 664 lb-ft of torque. That’s a considerable increase over the standard car, which is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 510 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.

Installing Vath’s tuning kit also allows the high-performance wagon to do 0-62 mph in just 3.3 seconds, whereas the standard C63 S needs an extra eight tenths of a second. If you need a comparison, this means the modified Mercedes wagon can outrun some last-generation supercars like the Ferrari 458 Italia. While most Mercedes-AMGs are limited to a top speed of 155 mph, or 180 mph if you have the optional AMG Driver’s package, Vath’s modified monster tops out at 211 mph, which makes it just as fast as the current Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Extracting all this extra grunt from the C60’s 4.0-liter V8 will cost you an extra 12,800 Euros ($14,870).

This includes tuning the unit's electronics and turbochargers, and adding a new oil cooler for the engine and transmission. If you have more money to splash out, Vath also offers a custom valve exhaust valve system for 3,440 Euros ($3,996), that provides a more distinguished sound. At the push of a button, the driver can choose between a “meaty bubbling V8 bi-turbo or a regular V8” depending on preference. Other upgrades available include a suspension kit that lowers the ride height between 20 mm to 40 mm for 690 Euros ($802), upgraded brakes for 890 Euros ($1,034), and 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Continental tires for 3,050 Euros ($3,500).

A carbon exterior package will also set you back 1,980 Euros ($2,300), which includes an aero-enhancing front spoiler and rear diffuser. No photos have been released of the upgraded interior, but Vath has added set of floor mats in black velour for 190 Euros ($220). The speedometer can also be adjusted to go up to 360 k/mh (224 mph), but even this will cost you 1,980 Euros ($2,300).
