The X-Series is based off of the Chevy Colorado and is powered by the pickup’s 3.6-liter V6 engine. Power output is 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, although VLF says a supercharger is available, an option which would obviously up the power output. Four-wheel drive is standard, as is a central tire inflation system. The X-Series sits on 20-inch wheels wrapped in massive 35” tires, making it look the part of an off-roader. The SUV seems to have the off-road skills to pay the bills but its spec sheet is undone by a goofy design. This thing resembles a Tonka truck and things don’t get better once you head inside. The display screen is laughably tiny and the steering wheel design is just…what is all that dead space for?!
