The wait's not much longer, now.
The press days for the 2016 Geneva Motor Show may be a long way behind us now, but that doesn't mean our coverage from the show has dried up. On the contrary, while the main members of the team did indeed head back to the office once the media passes expired, some of our minions were sent back to the Palexpo center in order to follow up on a few leads. It looks like they deserve a Maryland double chocolate chip from the cookie jar, though, as they dug up some rather tasty details on the upcoming marvel from Modena: the Pagani Huayra Roadster.
Here's Where The Pagani Huayra Roadster Will Be Unveiled
For starters, we can now officially confirm the Huayra Roadster will definitely be making its world debut later this year during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance event on August 21. Though it's technically not the first time we've slated Pebble Beach as the place where the Pagani Huayra Roadster will be unveiled (we first reported on such an eventuality in November 2015, after all!), the fact we now have Pagani representatives corroborating each other means we can say with the utmost certainty that, if you want to be one of the first people outside of Pagani to see the Huayra Roadster, you'll need to stump up the $325 needed to pre-book an admissions ticket for this year's Pebble Beach concourse show.

Given its unveiling date is only five months away, it's perhaps no real surprise that work on the Pagani Huayra Roadster is almost finished. According to the Pagani people we spoke to, the car is "in the final stages of development" and, while they weren't able to comment exactly on what under-the-skin changes have been made in the Huayra's conversion from a fixed-head to a roadster, we were told the revisions are generally what you'd expect when a high-end hardtop is re-engineered for life without a solid roof. Therefore, slightly softer suspension, a mild weight increase from the extra chassis bracing and the unfortunate removal of those gullwing doors should be part and parcel with the Huayra Roadster.

As with the hardtop Pagani Huayra, production of the Roadster will be limited to 100 units. If you're seriously interested in getting a Huayra Roadster, though, it's best to get your order in ASAP, as 75 examples have already been accounted for at time of writing. Should you find out you're out of luck, though, don't fret too much, as it was also confirmed to us a BC-esque version is also due for release "within the next couple of years". Even though final production numbers for the preemptively-named Huayra BC Roadster aren't yet finalized, Pagani is already taking prospective orders from clients who are seriously interested in it, so it's not like you've got long left to scrape the dollars together for a BC Roadster either.
