And now we're sharing it with you.
You've already read about it when Nissan first announced the details, but today we bring you a special unboxing review of the new 2017 Sentra Nismo direct from the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. We were given exclusive access to this former econobox sedan-turned-pocket rocket and we figured you’d want to see and know more. That’s what we’re here for. From its 1.6-liter direct-injected turbocharged inline-four with 188 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque to its six-speed manual (a CVT is optional, if you must), the Sentra Nismo isn’t just a Nismo in name only.
No, Nismo did the work here, starting with the exterior upgrades like 10-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear fascias with that signature red stripe, unique front LED daytime running lights, Nismo badging, and even chrome door handles. How does it drive? TBD, but it does feature a Nismo-tuned suspension and steering.

Engineers also went with a rear spoiler and revised rear bumper to help drop lift by 30 percent. Step inside and you’ll find even more Nismo goodness, specifically unique front seats with the Nismo logo and additional bolstering, more red stitching and an Alcantara and leather-wrapped steering wheel. There’s even a Nismo meter cluster. So, how much will it cost? Good question. We figure somewhere just under $25,000 sounds about right.
