The Chevrolet Impala and Buick LaCrosse are GM’s large, front-wheel-drive sedans that cater specifically to those looking for maximum space and comfort. If you want high-performance driving, look elsewhere. Both offer plenty of premium features, while the LaCrosse leans a bit more towards luxury.

However, the Impala can be optioned up to a level that was unheard of not so long ago for any Chevy. Both cars offer inline-four and V6 engine options, as well as standard six-speed automatics. Exciting? Not so much. But the Impala and LaCrosse both prove that dentists and accountants don’t have to drive without style. And yes, their trunks are massive. Golf club bags and such will fit without worry.
