Limited production run is under serious consideration.
Commissioned by Lamborghini collector Albert Spiess as a one-off for last week’s Villa D’Este, it appears that strong interest has convinced the powers-that-be to put the Zagato-bodied Gallardo into a limited production run. Dubbed the 5-95 Zagato, the unique creation marks the design house’s 95th anniversary and features the mechanics of the Gallardo LP570-4 housed in a restyled pillarless body surrounded by uninterrupted glass surfaces with a floating spoiler and carbon-fiber firewall concealing the front air intakes.
A functional air scoop integrates into the double bubble roof, while the back end has been truncated and pushed towards the engine, giving the car an aggressive look.
