The UAE is fast becoming the luxury carmaker’s most important market.
Given Abu Dhabi was Rolls-Royce’s biggest market in the world in the first half of 2013, the least the British carmaker could do was to build a special edition model for the UAE capital. And that’s exactly what it’s done. Dubbed the “Ruby Limited Edition,” inspiration comes from the precious gemstone, with the Rolls-Royce Phantom given a Merlot Red Mica paint job and a two-tone interior of Seashell and Mugello Red.
Other exterior features include an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy, custom tread plates and a twin Seashell coachline boasting a “Ruby” logo. The cabin is trimmed with Marine White wood, Mugello Red seat piping, and Lambswool mats. Ruby marquetry inlays feature on the headrests and fascia. There’s a personalized clock with cut ruby stone inlay, while the glove box is embroidered with “Ruby motif – one of one.”
