The term F-ing stupid was invented for just this moment.
timothy.chen.5439 Jul 04, 2013

Jonathan Romero Jul 03, 2013
You know this can actually sell, it wouldn't be crazy to manufacture this
James Donnelly Jul 03, 2013
Yeah I know they made it I just wasn't sure how many years or engines I know it was a 6 speed tho... I like this in a sense it gets rid of my biggest problem with the beetle could work in EU but not in NA here a truck is useless without a v8
Jacob Burford Jul 03, 2013
Man I hate to admit it, but I'm liking it!
Nick Rowe Jul 03, 2013
VW already has the Amarok
Jonathan Ippolito Jul 03, 2013
The SSR was produced . My neighbor has a yellow SSR
James Donnelly Jul 03, 2013
The ssr? It wasn't just a concept if I remember correctly they made it for 4 years and offered a ls1 and a ls2 in it
Justin Mancuso Jul 03, 2013
It's kinda like that old Chevy pickup concept, I think is was the SS or something
Description: Of course it’s towing a trailer with a regular behind on top. Although the chances of VW actually building a production Beetle Ute (for lack of a better name) are slim to none, the concept is intrigui...

I'd rather a GTI Ute
Colin Carlo Jul 03, 2013
I can see a lot of the Chevy SSR in this , it's not my thing but I don't mind this at all
Jacob Burford Jul 03, 2013
I actually like the look of it!
David Parenti Jul 03, 2013
Would be cooler with a less rounded front end. If it looked more like a truck. You know... Less Beetle-ish. VW made trucks before and they didn't look like beetles. I like the idea of a micro truck, but not one spawned from a beetle.
Justin Mancuso Jul 03, 2013
Ill take it
Felix E. Romier Jul 03, 2013
First I was like "Oh god, my eyes!" But then I was like "Doesn't look that bad after all!"
Edward Galligan Jul 03, 2013

Matt Sutton Jul 03, 2013

Brittany Sawyer Jul 03, 2013

Josiah Thomas Clements Jul 03, 2013
I'm actually liking this. Huh. Never would have guessed a VW Beetle would look good in the form of a UTE.
cole.maniglia Jul 03, 2013
I could see this becoming the new el camino for mexicans
Matty Michaels Jul 03, 2013
It looks like a chubbier HHR... Minus the whole back end missing and stuff.
Austin Sullivan Jul 03, 2013
If they extended the bed a little bit I bet this would sell
austin.jobes Jul 03, 2013

Ray Thomas Jul 03, 2013

alecjim Jul 03, 2013
