Holden HSV Ignites After Too Many Donuts

Watch this Holden HSV explode into a huge fireball before your very eyes.
It’s often said there’s a limit to everything, even horsepower. That’s the honest truth and sometimes people refuse to accept it. However that way of thinking can lead to serious consequences. A prime example is this Holden HSV Club Sport tuned to nearly 1,300 horsepower. While taking part at Powercruise USA in Minnesota, the big RWD sedan seemed to be having a grand old time doing donuts when suddenly something orange appeared on the underbody.
Turns out it was fire. Lots and lots of fire. We’re guessing the car’s torque converter went. Fortunately it looks like no one was badly hurt, but the car is completely kaput.
