Peugeot's fastest production car, the newly facelifted RCZ R, is pitted against a mountain bike in a downhill race.
In order to give a little promotional push for its newly facelifted 2013 RCZ sports coupe, Peugeot went ahead and featured it in a race against a guy on a mountain bike. Italian rally driving champion Paolo Andreucci is behind the wheel of the RCZ R while fellow Italian and downhill bike racing champ Lorenzo Suding takes hold of the handle bars. The unlikely matchup shows the two going down a snow-covered mountainside with plenty of twisty and slippery roads and rough terrain.
The RCZ is powered by a base 1.6-liter four with either 156 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque or 200 hp and 203 lb-ft. There’s an optional 2.0-liter diesel with 163 hp and 250 lb-ft. But our choice would be the RCZ R that’s shown in this video. It packs the 1.6-liter unit that's been upgraded to 260 hp.
