The M5 is the latest member of the updated 2014 BMW 5 Series lineup to be spied.
BMW is currently refreshing the 5 Series, and having spied the four-door sedan, Touring wagon and, most recently, the Grand Turismo, we now have the first spy shots of the facelifted 2014 BMW M5 to share. Only a keen eye will be able to spot the upgrades, and from the close up shots it's apparent that BMW has added new flat-bottomed round headlights, a new grille with twin slats as featured on the M6, and new taillight graphics. A camouflaged rear bumper and diffuser hint at some changes here too.

As with the rest of the 2014 5 Series lineup, updates are also expected inside, including an improved iDrive multimedia system and configurable instrument display. Under the hood, the M5’s twin-turbo V8 will likely continue offer 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, cementing its standing as one of the most formidable performance sedans on the market.
