Panamera Facelift Spied in the Nude

It's time for the Panamera's mid-life refresh. Here are the latest spy shots of the how things are progressing.

Porsche is readying an update for the Panamera, and our spy photographer has just sent in these latest shots of the super sedan in both stock and Turbo guise, wearing next to no camouflage (save for some tape on the lights). From these images it’s apparent that the focus of the styling facelift for the Porsche Panamera is on new bumpers and lights. At the back, the new rear light design has taken cues from the Sport Turismo Concept displayed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

Last year's concept provided a clear design direction the next generation Panamera will take. In the meantime the car will receive a mid-cycle refresh that should also include upgrades for the engine, transmission and interior, helping Porsche's four-door coupe fend off competition from Audi's new RS7 Sportback, BMW's 6 Series Gran Coupe and Aston Martin's more powerful and refreshed Rapide S.
