Glickenhaus Planning New P33

The man behind the Pininfarina P4/5 has a new project in the cooker.
Recognize the name Jim Glickenhaus? The American filmmaker and investment banker is a car nut of the highest caliber. His collection includes some of the most desirable classic racing Ferraris (as well as one of the first Alfa 8Cs sold in America), but he’s since distinguished himself from a mere collector. In 2006 he commissioned Pininfarina to turn his Enzo into the P4/5, then had a race-spec P4/5 Competizione built on top of a 430 Scuderia, which his team fields in endurance racing. Now he’s announced a new project underway.

Called the P33, it’s set to be unveiled in two year’s time at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Set to be smaller than the P4/5, it’ll be about the size of the Dino Competizione which Glickenhaus owns. The car is targeted to come in around 1,600 lbs and pack a twin-turbo V6 engine with 500 horsepower inside a unique shape with three integrated wings and a canopy cockpit similar to the 1970 Ferrari 512 S Modulo concept. The car will be built by Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus out of carbon fiber. That’s about all we have to go on at the moment, but we’re sure more details will be released as the project progresses.
