Two strong character lines give the flanks more of a sculpted look, while integrated exhaust tips and a large glass roof (likely optional) highlight the design. Like the current S550, the new S-Class will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 and the S600 will pack a twin-turbo V12. Expect for AMG-badged models, the S63 and S65, to appear at some point down the line as well as diesel and hybrid models, with smaller powertrains to join in overseas markets. There are also rumors that an electric-diesel plug-in hybrid is being developed. Along with the sedan, the S-Class will spawn a coupe and convertible as well as an extended-wheelbase S600 Pullman trim that’ll fill the Maybach void.
