2014 Mercedes S-Class Caught Naked

More than likely, Mercedes-Benz won't be too thrilled that these photos showing its new 2014 S-Class sedan have hit the web.
Set to have its official debut this May, our spy photographers have today managed to snap some revealing shots of the all-new Mercedes-Benz S-Class without any camouflage. In other words, the images you see before you are that of the final production car. Overall, the all-new 2014 S-Class has more of a streamlined look to it over that of the outgoing model. Some interesting styles features include that large front grille inspired by the F700 Concept car and some sleek LED head- and taillights.

Two strong character lines give the flanks more of a sculpted look, while integrated exhaust tips and a large glass roof (likely optional) highlight the design. Like the current S550, the new S-Class will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 and the S600 will pack a twin-turbo V12. Expect for AMG-badged models, the S63 and S65, to appear at some point down the line as well as diesel and hybrid models, with smaller powertrains to join in overseas markets. There are also rumors that an electric-diesel plug-in hybrid is being developed. Along with the sedan, the S-Class will spawn a coupe and convertible as well as an extended-wheelbase S600 Pullman trim that’ll fill the Maybach void.
