McLaren 12C Chimera by FAB Design

The Swiss tuner’s latest creation for the 12C will be showcased on home soil at the Geneva Motor Show.

Swiss tuner FAB Design has followed up its highly acclaimed Terso widebody kit for the McLaren 12C with a less dramatic program dubbed the MP4 Chimera that will premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. Key to the body kit was aerodynamic efficiency and weight optimization, achieved using ultra-light carbon GFK components, such as the front spoiler made from visible carbon-fiber that channels air to the vents while giving the supercar a lowered appearance.

Other new additions include a wind splitter atop the roof, visible carbon-fiber side skirts, a carbon rear diffuser and a triple-flow exhaust system for the new rear apron that gives the 12C an additional 15 horses. FAB Design prices the styling kit at 16,900 Euros. Also new, is a set of three-part FAB Evoline alloys staggered at 20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear, as well as a selection of orange-colored carbon components and orange stitching for the interior.
