800hp Audi R8 by MTM

Acclaimed Audi tuner MTM has sorted a chrome-coated R8 in time for the Geneva Motor Show.

MTM is no stranger to the Geneva Motor Show, and this year its star attraction will be a tricked-out Audi R8 GT.At the heart of the polished chrome and matt-carbon colored supercar is a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V10 TFSI borrowed from an RS6. MTM it modified to deliver 802 horsepower and 658 pound-feet of torque, up from 571 hp and 479 lb-f which is sent to the tarmac via a six-speed manual and Audi’s quattro AWD system.

Impressive performance figures read: 0-62 mph in 3.0 seconds, 0-124 mph in 10.6 seconds and 0-186 mph in 26 seconds. Top speed is rated at over 225 mph. To handle all that power some serious upgrades were made to the chassis including a KW three-way adjustable suspension and MTM coilover kit, a set of 20-inch polished Bimoto alloys and 380mm brake discs front and rear with 8-piston calipers. The interior features red leather upholstery and carbon/leather seats.MTM has priced its creation at 450,000 Euros.
