2014 Kia Soul Spied in Sweden

Kia is looking to build on the success of the square-but-hip Soul by creating a new model.
As one of its best-selling models in the US, Kia is keen to keep a strong momentum with the Kia Soul. So while it’s only been a year since the Soul received a facelift, these spy shots show the Korean automaker is working on an all-new model. Despite heavy cladding, the apparent visual differences the prototype has over the current model include a slightly lower roof line that coupled with the already wide stance gives it a more manly stance.

The typical Kia grille has moved up a bit, the air intake has enlarged and sprouted siblings, while squarer headlights are topped by LED stripes. The single interior shot reveals the dash has also been re-designed. There’s no concrete info on powertrains, but those that feature on the new Cee’d are likely to carry over to the 2014 Kia Soul.
