I don't like this car at all but I love the sound it makes. For the cash though, I'd get a C6RS and save some monies for track time.
One of my favorite cars. For around 200k the only thing that might compete is the R8 GT.
@Jake there ain't nothing punk about a Falcon F7! That is about a manly a design as they get in hypercars. I want one so badly. I agree some of those other designs are a little "soft" like the 458. But sometimes curves are good if it's done right, like the McLaren P1. The SLS is an acquired taste. So is black coffee (no cream or sugar). I love both the SLS and black coffee.
Definitely rather have this than those other punk cars. Just more fun with an AMG.

I'd take the roadster for good top down fun, then get the 12-C for, Idk I'd just get it. Then I would get the 458 because it is cool and I could say I have a 458. So about 3/4 of a million for three cool cars. The other 250k for saving baby seals.

Yes there are other cars I'd rather have for that $250k price. In particular A Falcon F7, but you have admit that engine and the sounds it makes are indeed glorious. AMG makes their engines sound like American muscle cars. They get points for that alone!
For $225,000 I would rather have a lot of other cars. 911 turbo s, Gallardo, F430, SLR, California. IMO it's just a comfortable Benz with a big engine. Like most AMG's
This car has got to be one of the most iconic figures in the automotive industry! Great all rounded car.. with a dirty v8 soundtrack!! Not much better than traveling at the sound of speed!!

I have a 122 mile daily round trip commute on the I-5/580 corridor into the San Franciso east bay area for work. On the route I get to see a lot of different exotica including this car. It is very nice looking car. Not beautiful. Handsome. Distinctly masculine like a new Dodge Charger (which have coupe version).
pictures do not do this car justice.. it looks so much sleeker in real life
All Mercedes blow away their rivals in interior. Sorry BMW, Audi, and Cadillac. Mercedes is king
