MT Drives Mercedes SLS AMG GT

Looking to buy what's possibly the best-sounding naturally-aspirated V8 supercar? Here's your answer.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is not the best track car out there. It was never really designed for that purpose, particularly when compared to something like the McLaren MP4-12C or the Ferrari 458 Italia. It just requires more work to get around corners quickly, but it doesn’t handle the way one would expect from a front-engined supercar. Simply put, it doesn’t drive the way it looks. It actually has a rear-weight bias which translates into more of a mid-engined car feel.
But still, if you’re looking to blow past others on a curvy track, there are better choices. However, you’d be missing out on the SLS AMG GT’s burbling 6.2-liter V8 and its 600 horsepower. It’s what a proper naturally-aspirated V8 should sound like.
