Comments - Bentley Presents New Flying Spur

Published: Feb 20, 2013
Description: For a company with essentially two model lines, Bentley sure keeps itself busy. It’s always got a new version of the Continental GT coupe or convertible coming out, and it’s hard at work lobbying and...

Falcon is an awful name, Im sorry.
Jacob Burford Feb 21, 2013
Looks much nicer than the last one
Janak Solanki Feb 20, 2013
Very nice.
Will Will Feb 20, 2013
@ matt not to offend you, but i see no relevance in your comment. I was commenting abt dan's sarcastic comment by saying that audis look even more similar to each other compared to bentleys. I said nothing about this car looking the best in the world
Nawaf Alrashed Feb 20, 2013
Will Be Next Car :)
Matt Piccolo Feb 20, 2013
@ will, styling wise. I couldn't even agree with that. This isn't the prettiest car in existence.
Matt Marchant Feb 20, 2013
I'm getting really tired of bentleys, Aston got away with it for so long because of the wonderful design, but the conti has aged far worse by comparison to the point where it doesn't even look special anymore.
Drew Humphrey Feb 20, 2013
Wow love it
Gray Conron Feb 20, 2013
@Aziz he said it with sarcasm.
Aziz Umr Feb 20, 2013
Agree with @Dan, much better then old one. looks great.
Will Will Feb 20, 2013
At least its better than audi.
Description: As you can see, the new Flying Spur looks considerably more elegant than the Continental Flying Spur it replaces, bridging the stylistic gap between the Conti GT and the Mulsanne. It’s also over a hun...

How the hell do you make a car weigh over 5,000 pounds?!?!
Matt Piccolo Feb 20, 2013
As heavy as ever
Description: Whether that means Bentley will discontinue the 567hp spec, and whether the 500hp V8 will be offered in the sedan, remains to be seen. One way or another, the power and its accompanying 580 lb-ft of t...

Dang 4.3 seconds. That's very impressive. Faster than an M3
Will Will Feb 20, 2013
With all that weight, i wonder how long will it take to bring the car from 200- 0mph.
Andrew McNeal Feb 20, 2013
A 5,000 lb car that hits 200 mph. Wow!
Justin Johnson Feb 20, 2013
Pretty fast for 500hp and 5500lbs.
Ahmed Al Harthy Feb 21, 2013
Heavy*
Ahmed Al Harthy Feb 21, 2013
Looks heaven and well put together .. I am starting to like it
Terrance Parker Feb 21, 2013
Beautiful
Janak Solanki Feb 20, 2013
Wow this looks awsome. Looks really distinct and classy. Nice muscular lines and short overhang in the front convey sportiness.
Tyler Ray DeFord Feb 20, 2013
Bentley owners say, I'm in it for the luxury, but don't dare try to drag race my Butler.
Taylor Garry Feb 20, 2013
Those arent that low profile...
Jörgen Nilsson Feb 20, 2013
Wyatt: I really hope you were joking.
Wyatt Gordon Feb 20, 2013
I hate the tires. Make the wheels an inch bigger, and slap on some lower profile tires. Those look way too much like tires you'd see on a Ford Focus.
Malachi Monteiro Feb 20, 2013
Good side profile
Chris Gaines Feb 20, 2013
"higher profile tires" eh?
Julian Pilinci Feb 20, 2013
Very low profile tires for a Bentley.
Justin Johnson Feb 20, 2013
Wow I like this
Carlton Salmon Feb 20, 2013
Nice side profile.
Ahmed Al Harthy Feb 21, 2013
I an not very sure about the overall design of the back.. The back somehow reminds me of one of passat's models.. But still liking it,
Janak Solanki Feb 20, 2013
Very nice. Restrained elegance. It's what this car should be.
Chester Lam Feb 20, 2013
Lights, blend in
John M Weishahn Feb 20, 2013
I agree with Carlton. The tail looks too smooth, too apologetic. It should be brutal and make its presence known with authority.
Will Will Feb 20, 2013
*done
Will Will Feb 20, 2013
I'm starting to like the rear design a bit more, although it could have been dine better.
Elias Harb Feb 20, 2013
Its not perfect but its waaay better than the old flying spurs back
Ben Bright Feb 20, 2013
I like it.
Matt Piccolo Feb 20, 2013
Back needs work
Daniel Alexander Soutar Feb 20, 2013
Lights aren't so elegantly done, but at least it looks different to all the models before it from the back...
Alex Bouckley Feb 20, 2013
I think it looks good on this car. Not too sporty and not too flashy
Carlton Salmon Feb 20, 2013
The only thing I don't like about this car is its rear. Way too bland and simplistic for me and the lights look like they belong on another car. This is only my opinion of course.
John Patten Feb 20, 2013
Not bad.
Description: The suspension is also 25% softer with adaptive dampers to stiffen it up again under hard cornering. The redesigned body is also more resistant to noise and vibration. The cabin which the softer suspe...

Wyatt Gordon Feb 20, 2013
Ah. So thats how they managed to make it weigh so much.
Carlton Green Feb 20, 2013
Thats a lot of tech. Really impressive
Will Will Feb 20, 2013
Or an office cubicle on the go.
Will Will Feb 20, 2013
Bentley never fails to turn their luxury sedans into computer laboratories.
Description: Buyers can opt for four- or five-seat configurations, and from 17 standard or 100 optional colors, including the Dark Cashmere pictured here. The Mulliner catalog offers even more, ensuring that while...

I think this is gorgeous !!
Janak Solanki Feb 20, 2013
I think the lower grill needs some vertical separations and some undulating lines. Looks too simple at present.
Ian T. Miyashiro Feb 24, 2013
Great redesign, terrible tail-end.
Ahmed Al Harthy Feb 21, 2013
From this angle looks like a RR ghost
Dennis Choong Feb 20, 2013
Cool... at least a luxury marque pays attention to aero lift at high speed. Guess there's no optional rear wing in their catalogue... lol
Ashton Summers Feb 20, 2013
Yup Dennis, thats because there will be no pesky 155mph limiter in this car.
Dennis Choong Feb 20, 2013
Is that a diffuser in between the exhaust pipes?
Carlton Salmon Feb 20, 2013
I can see that they wanted to make the lights match the shape of the exhaust but with too many straight lines and angles it simply doesn't work IMO.
Janak Solanki Feb 20, 2013
Very interesting. I bet you a Chinese manufacturer will copy this design very soon.
Kwayne Bryant Feb 22, 2013
The interior doesn't look too confusing.
Jacob Burford Feb 21, 2013
Gorgeous interior!
Ahmed Al Harthy Feb 21, 2013
Interior remains the same
Ashton Summers Feb 20, 2013
Those who are unimpressed have never been in one. I mean the seat tracks are covered in leather and the carpet quality in the trunk is better than what you get in most interiors, even from Mercedes.
Tyler Wallace Feb 20, 2013
Wow people are really unimpressed by this car over all I love it I love Bentley
Matt Piccolo Feb 20, 2013
I expected more from Bentley imho
Erik Rudolph Feb 20, 2013
Vw owns Bentley
Hung Vu Feb 20, 2013
The gear plate look like it came out of my VW
Dennis Choong Feb 20, 2013
Gear lever is sticking out like a sore thumb
Michael Montefusco Feb 20, 2013
I wish then tv screens had a more "built in" look but bravo either way!!! Interior looks amazing!
Carlton Green Feb 20, 2013
Opulence
