MiTo On Two Wheels for UK Launch

Alfa Romeo launches MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK Limited Edition in UK with a world-first car and bike driving stunt.

First unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK Limited Edition has arrived in the UK with style by performing a world-first driving stunt at the UK's Silverstone circuit. British Superbike rider Chris Walker performed an "undertaking" maneuver on his Kawasaki ZX-10R Ninja British Superbike, while precision driver Paul Swift took the Alfa MiTo SBK up on two wheels. As the limited-edition MiTo swept around Brooklands corner on two wheels, for a brief moment the bike went under the chassis making for some fantastic pictures.

Daredevil Alfa Romeo ironically provides the safety car for the FIM Superbike World Championship and created the Quadrifoglio Verde SBK to mark its long-running partnership with the tournament. Only 28 models have been earmarked for the UK, available in Solid Black with an Alfa Red roof, priced at £21,595.
