Unique, yet not as crazy as other Lambos! That the kind of design they should go for with for the new GT car!
They're making 10 and they'll likely be far over $1m. They don't need a massive market because they'll sell in a day. Unless they decide against the whole 'less than 10' thing, they only need rich people who need something to blow their money on. Really skeptical about this one...If they do announce such a project, I think it's going to be a very mature concept with a finish deadline in October. Very unlikely thought because the Cabriolet version of the Aventador is already fully booked and we are still waiting for the production announcement of it.
Aesthetically I very much enjoy this design more than Ferrari FF or the Panamera GT concept which is a huge improvement over the sedan btw.
@Ivan. The rapide at dealerships is $230k ... And I'm sure the new rapide S with more hp will be steeper... So this will likely compete with that. They will never make this less the $150k nor should they.
I hope they build this. I think it could potentially be the best 4 door on the market.

As much as I'd love a Lambo GT I don't really think there's a huge market for ANOTHER GT car unless they'll sell it for less than $150k to compete with Maserati, Aston and Porsche which I doubt they will do
Curtis Clayton, Lamborghini use to have an F1 team. They didn't do well at all. If anyone in the VW/Audi family will start an F1 team it will Porsche.
Just like with Porsche, Lamborghini wants to make enormous amounts of money, and the way to do it is with volume, like a 4dr or an SUV...
I would like it a lot more if they would tuck the shirt in on the front end.
Nick, it won't be an SV model. They always release the SV version during the last couple years of production.

For being a V12 and Lamborghini, I'd expect a better back end. Maybe tighter, more compact. Smaller windows and stuff. This is more of a luxury car from the looks of it, not a supercar. Obviously not, but looks like it.
This was a concept in 09 but they r gonna reveil there fastest lambo soon for there 50th anniversary

Aventador isn't everyones cup of tea. Certainly not mine. Aventador design is meant to be over-the-top. I think Aventador is borderline cartoonish. But sales of this GT (and others in a expanded lineup) can give Lambo the cashflow t build a better Aventador. McClaren P1 is also over-the-top. In a good way.
Lambo is following Porsche's example. Flesh out it's model line with vehicles that expands their bottom line so that it has the cash to do the things it does best. Lambo needs this car. It will sell every one it chooses to build. I know great design when I see it.
I don't think that Lambo should dabble in a four door car. They should stick to coupes in which they are phenomenal at doing. The roof line does not have that sleekness that is associated with Lamborghinis.
It would look sleeker if the roofline was lower, but this is a GT it should be like that
@David I just put side-by-side images of this and the Stingray. I don't see the similarity. The Stingray compares favorably btw.
@Janak what about the roofline looks 'off'? The purpose of this design is to provide headroom for rear passengers and outward visibility.

My best bet for there anniversary car is a one off car based on the gallardo(light and small)with a aventador engine(big with lots of power)The car would be like the sesto and made to compete with the newEnzo or thef150 or thef70, whatever its called
Ferrucio Lamborghini's only 2 reasons for building cars was to build a better V12 and better street car than Ferrari because they weren't meant for street use, they were race cars. So he set out to build street use cars, not race cars.
@Nick, I was hoping someone would bring that up. tgmhe Miura wasnt the first Lambo, folks there was the 350 GT and others before which were all front engined GT cars.
