It's a bit silly to take up issue with spouting opinions taken from TG, i mean, c'mon, we all do it now and then. I will say tho, in my personal opinion, that Alfas almost always are pretty; with the obvious exception of this one, which is rather awkward and strange

Is it not? It seems people love to repeat what Clarkson says, like the corvette being made of plastic, or the ferrari that supposedly spontaneously combusts, the 458 I think it was.
It looks like those silly body kits people put on smart cars to make them look like ferraris. Too smushed IMO

I would've liked to see an Alfa V6 with the chrome intake runners under the glass but I still think its an awesome little car. Not something I'd aspire to own necessarily but I'm glad it exists.
I would definitely have to see a price tag before I make a real judgement. Alfa Romeo's haven't had the best reputation.
Yeah this certainly wouldn't be an everyday car. More of a weekend or track car.
It would be fun in the sense that so is a go kart lol. But I couldn't drive it everyday.
Really can't decide yet if this would be a good buy. Yeah it's only 240 horsepower but so is a Lotus Elise and that car is fast by any standards. Sure it has a low top speed but who cares. Power is good, but power to weight ratio is even better.
Because to them it sounds good on paper, without having seen any test results. Name a few cars that sounded good on paper... But turned out crap.
You have no performance specs on this car yet and all of you are making assumptions, this car is going to handle like a train on tracks
I prefer a corvette too. This just seems ugly and even though the power to weight ratio is good I prefer other cars over this

I didn't want to start a corvette debate. My point was, there's more out there for less. The price of this isn't justified. The brand doesn't it make it valuable either. Looks like a warmed over lotus.
It only weighs 2200 lbs. it is very similar to an Exige in weight, HP, setup, and price. I was really hoping it would be more though. Good to see some more competition in the segment at least!

This sounds like a wicked sweet car. All that horsepower, barely any weight and with that engine placement. This ought to be one hell of a sports car. Probably just like the GT-86 a future legend here.

It's sad only 500 being made. This could definitely bring Alfa back to America. I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Nice to see them getting back to their roots, small lightweight nimble cars.
Go back to the concept headlights and this will go down in history as one of the most beautiful cars ever.

I've never liked the 4c, it just felt like to me that it was a design exercise to see how many triangles they could fit onto one car...
There's no other way of saying this: they cocked up the lights very badly indeed...
Looks like they just sprinkled a few led lights above the headlights...not feeling this car as much as I thought I would
I cant get over it looking like a rodent in the front. i want to like it, i love the 8c but this just doesnt do it for me
those headlights look like an afterthought. otherwise I think it looks beautifully unique. The 8C remains as one of my favorite sportscars, I absolutely love the way it sounds.
They remind me of the smart coupes lights. You know the lights drifting in a sea of plastic look.
