It's more or less for fun and to raise awareness and money for charities. It's a really great cause and a heck of a lot of fun to watch :)

I would ask why there's no engine upgrades, but knowing that this is a celebrity race and most of them have never done any track driving it probably wouldn't be a great idea to throw more power under the hood anyway.

It looks like the oil filter is placed up high and handy like the Tacoma's V6. A feature I love!
