This is a car for people that have a lot of $$. They don't care about its utilitarian purpose. It's like a big FU to SUV stereotypes. The concept design for the X6 was absolutely beautiful.
All practicality and sanity aside, if you've never heard one of these things in person, stay your judgments. It's really quite impressive.
An X6M is basically an X5M in drag. Even in saying that I still like it more than the X5 because of its interesting shape.
Why is it that if you don't like a car then bam! You clearly can't afford it and that's why you're hating. That makes no sense to me. I like Ferraris but I can't afford one, does that make me a hater?

The juke is half the size and a third the price... and not even close to the same styling.
Yes BMW does orient all the instrumentation towards the driver. Makes you feel special. :)
It is it's driver oriented so the center kind of encompasses the driver. Kinda cool feature on a lot of cars.

I like how the other day this was a pointless BMW and now everyone is singing its praises.
Americans think the x6 is awesome, while Europe doesn't like it. If anyone watched the too gear episode of it, they explain how just plain stupidly useless it is

I think it's a beautiful car. Of course it's not practical, it wasn't meant to be. It's supposed to be a fun, sporty SUV that handles like a car. It's meant for fun people who can spend their money as they please, not whiny bitches who drive a Prius
