This is so ugly, I decided to get the current 2013 when I saw what's coming in 2014. This doesn't look like luxury to me...many of the lines look forced and unbalanced. The concept car looked good but they made too many sacrifices in the production model. Sorry Lexus, I'd be surprised if this sells.
It looks pretty cool. The headlights are bothering me a bit, but at least its a bold design. I like it, although I'm a bit more enthusiastic about the new Infiniti Q50
Amazing design I love it so much despite of my real love and loyalty to German cars but newly I like Lexus too because I see the real Japanese creation
As a Infiniti driver, Im a fan of this. I never really Lexus. This is stunning tho. Looks better than the GS. I love the grille and the lines of the bodywork

That is mind bogglingly horrid, there isn't a safe place to rest your eye, the dyslexic hour glass, the wierd pointy crap, Lexus must think Acuras are ugly! Lets make ours worse!

Every brand needs an identity of some sort. I like where this is headed. Doesn't look bad at all, and I'm not Toyota's biggest fan by any stretch of the imagination.
I like it that Lexus is trying to fix there image, but I'm just not feeling there front ends!
@Jorgen, I mean I was reading the production cost for the LFA as ridiculous, I think they could make an affordable version for the everyday driver with less
I think Lexus is trying to be like Merc and BMW by making general brand print ((the grill)). You can distinguish a Merc design without seeing the tri star.
Very aggressive look. Love it. Hooker, just use a touchless car wash with pressure hose. That will clean all the bugs off without any problem.
Lexus is now in the business of bug catcher... good luck cleaning that grill

Lexus made a valiant attempt to dethrone the Juke for the ugliest looking headlights, but came up just short - a strong second indeed.
Pretty much, all the Lexus models appear the same with the predator front end.
Like the new grille design. The headlights look too small. My wife had an 08 is350. That thing could move. Backseat legroom was awful. Loved the heated/cooled seats and paddle shifters.
Wow...it looks a million times better than the last one. Certainly better than the 3 series, g sedan, and a4. The front end is a little busy, however. I cant wait to see how this drives compared to the ATS

@ian, i have an 05 is300 manual, and your right its a dream to drive and its also very reliable i highly recomend one to anyone that can find one of these rare cars
I never knew an IS350 was faster than the G37 But thats only cause the G weighs more than a GS
I second that Ethan. The first gen is300 with a 2jz n/a and a manual was a dream to drive.
So upset about this design, I'm now NOT getting a new IS. Maybe I'll get a used one, which I like better. Or just start looking elsewhere.

Dreadful. Grille is gross, clumsy and wildly overstated. The entire car has lost it's elegance.
The lines are a little weird back there, but it's unique and pretty cool all in all
Front is not bad just a little getting used too but the rear and the taillights horrible. Looks more cheaper looking from the back

I never saw the first concept pic, but this looks like a decent facelift to me. Certainly looks more purposeful.
It looks like the same body style but front and rear updates, the hype is gone from the first picture.
I like what they did with the tailights. I dont like the connecting fender line but thats just concept art anyway. Itll never make it to production.

I loved everything until I saw the rear.... how could you all say this looks good??!!!! its absolutely horrible and this is coming from a current IS lover. I hate this new rear. Lexus, please, don't you ever put this into production. Just because you want to innovate doesn't mean make it ugly....
The tail lights should be taller in height then they wouldn't look too bad. Right now it looks like a TSX from the rear. Hope they make an IS-F coupe. They will have to do something really unique to beat out the M3, C63, RS5, CTS-V
I like the front...but the rear lights are horrific. Someone forget to tell the taillight designer that they were designing taillights, not tail-and-side-lights
The lines on the car look good but, the taillights integrated with the lines of the car looks odd.
The back looks too much like an Acura in the back in my opinion... And that's not doing it for me...

why would you make this car any smaller lexus. I road in the current IS rear seating once , and I literally had to sit sideways just to make my legs fit so the idea of making it smaller is just beyond me! !!!!

This is where lexus and i will part ways. Its been a good run. The LFA is done with and looks like they butchered the new IS.. In my opinion, of course.

Lfa inspired, already lexus is throwing tech and styling cues from the lfa into there production. Happy about this
Since Lexus, not Audi was the first to use LED in and around the headlights, they should be allowed to use them and make new shapes with them.

plain and sIMple, yet refined. lookS like a very cOmfortable and ergonomic place to reside beHind the wheel. One thing i would Redo is the logo size on the wheel, too big imo. plus if you get iN and accident You'll be lexus branded for life. hehe;)
@Alex what are you talking about dude. Lexus is a luxury brand before anything else. Just because this is performance oriented does not mean it shouldnt have cup holders. I bet 95% of these will be daily drivers and people will want the cup holders

This might of sold me on it. The LFA had one of my favorite interiors of all time, and this is HEAVILY-influenced by it. And it looks like it had a similar tach, which completes the deal. I would have never thought I would consider a Lexus over...
