Brian SnyderApr 30, 2013 This is so ugly, I decided to get the current 2013 when I saw what's coming in 2014. This doesn't look like luxury to me...many of the lines look forced and unbalanced. The concept car looked good but they made too many sacrifices in the production model. Sorry Lexus, I'd be surprised if this sells.
Cindy NgoJan 11, 2013 Cool Chevy spark EV (Electric Viecle
Jon AshleyJan 10, 2013 It looks pretty cool. The headlights are bothering me a bit, but at least its a bold design. I like it, although I'm a bit more enthusiastic about the new Infiniti Q50
Trent GriffinJan 10, 2013 Hideous....long live Lexus.
Jörgen NilssonJan 10, 2013 Author: yeah, it was expensive, but still road going.
supra_mkivJan 10, 2013 I bet it would look more enhanced in black or dark gray
Mohammed SerwanJan 10, 2013 Amazing design I love it so much despite of my real love and loyalty to German cars but newly I like Lexus too because I see the real Japanese creation
Carlton Sofocusedon GreenJan 10, 2013 As a Infiniti driver, Im a fan of this. I never really Lexus. This is stunning tho. Looks better than the GS. I love the grille and the lines of the bodywork
Ryan Patrick ClausonJan 10, 2013 I don't get the headlights, the don't go with the lines of the car at all
Justin RouthJan 10, 2013 Alot better but i dont like the grille. I think the germans and caddy are still ahead but im liking where lexus is going
Zac D'AnnaJan 10, 2013 Wow this is actually brutal
Anders SchrøderJan 10, 2013 I think it's perfect. Wouldn't have mine in white though.
Nick KnollJan 09, 2013 That is mind bogglingly horrid, there isn't a safe place to rest your eye, the dyslexic hour glass, the wierd pointy crap, Lexus must think Acuras are ugly! Lets make ours worse!
Timothy HookerJan 09, 2013 maybe a giant inter cooler peaking out behind that grill would make it better
Otto KlahnJan 09, 2013 Lexus has finely found their styling sweet spot. Good job!
Quinn BeaupréJan 09, 2013 Good look. Not a huge fan of the grill
Colby ChurchJan 09, 2013 Every brand needs an identity of some sort. I like where this is headed. Doesn't look bad at all, and I'm not Toyota's biggest fan by any stretch of the imagination.
Jacob BurfordJan 09, 2013 I like it that Lexus is trying to fix there image, but I'm just not feeling there front ends!
Author Norman R. ColsonJan 09, 2013 @Jorgen, I mean I was reading the production cost for the LFA as ridiculous, I think they could make an affordable version for the everyday driver with less
Waleed AlshahriJan 09, 2013 I think Lexus is trying to be like Merc and BMW by making general brand print ((the grill)). You can distinguish a Merc design without seeing the tri star.
Jason BrownJan 09, 2013 Very aggressive look. Love it. Hooker, just use a touchless car wash with pressure hose. That will clean all the bugs off without any problem.
Timothy HookerJan 09, 2013 Lexus is now in the business of bug catcher... good luck cleaning that grill
Sean JohnJan 09, 2013 it should look good in black
Jörgen NilssonJan 09, 2013 Author:what do you mean by "a street version of the LFA"? The LFA is not a track only car...
Zeus MochaJan 09, 2013 Very different and bold move. If it wasn't for the led strip it would have went south for me but it's holding. Can't wait to see it next weeked
Jeffrey FrankJan 09, 2013 Lexus made a valiant attempt to dethrone the Juke for the ugliest looking headlights, but came up just short - a strong second indeed.
Ahmed BarrasaliJan 09, 2013 In black it will be Darth vader's car.
Mike BakhsheshiJan 09, 2013 Pretty much, all the Lexus models appear the same with the predator front end.
Zaire WilkinsJan 09, 2013 Now this is nice but. Cant wait to see the new G
Greg KenerlyJan 09, 2013 Like the new grille design. The headlights look too small. My wife had an 08 is350. That thing could move. Backseat legroom was awful. Loved the heated/cooled seats and paddle shifters.
John SerelyJan 09, 2013 Wow...it looks a million times better than the last one. Certainly better than the 3 series, g sedan, and a4. The front end is a little busy, however. I cant wait to see how this drives compared to the ATS
Aaron SparksJan 09, 2013 Looks way too similar to the GS. Kinda disappointing.
Mclaren SlrJan 09, 2013 for years this company and its owner could not make an attractive image for themselves and still so........
Joel HayesJan 09, 2013 Love it! A concept car for real roads!
Garrick RaineyJan 09, 2013 Oh my! I really like where Lexus is headed with their designs. This is sexy.
Douglas GoncalvesJan 09, 2013 This new design does look a lot better. Check out the LED lights. They look like the Nike logo!
Vincent ChenJan 09, 2013 Not bad, don't like the headlights though
Matt PiccoloJan 09, 2013 Damn, this looks freaking amazing! 4 years ago, I'd have never have believed this was a Lexus! Lexus is on a role!
Shane PrasadJan 09, 2013 Looks like the grill can be used as a cheese grater too.
Serge PankratovJan 09, 2013 Ugh! They messed it up! I dont like it. Especially those headlights.. Wtf?
Author Norman R. ColsonJan 09, 2013 Funny they can do an gs, ls, Lx, but not a street version of the LFA huh? I know limited production excuses!
Daniel AnglevikJan 09, 2013 Oh lord have mercy... WHAT a beautiful car. I WANT IT.
The IS250/350 is one of the best looking standard car ever.
But this.....

Sean JohnJan 13, 2013 @ian, i have an 05 is300 manual, and your right its a dream to drive and its also very reliable i highly recomend one to anyone that can find one of these rare cars
Zaire WilkinsJan 10, 2013 I never knew an IS350 was faster than the G37 But thats only cause the G weighs more than a GS
Ian RagsdaleJan 10, 2013 I second that Ethan. The first gen is300 with a 2jz n/a and a manual was a dream to drive.
Brian SnyderJan 18, 2013 So upset about this design, I'm now NOT getting a new IS. Maybe I'll get a used one, which I like better. Or just start looking elsewhere.
Justin JohnsonJan 10, 2013 It looks the freaking same except the grille
Jacob BurfordJan 09, 2013 I'll stick with a 3-Series, or the new ATS!
Timothy HookerJan 09, 2013 wtf is going on with the body in front of the back tire? this looks like it was designed by a first year student trying to make a name for themselves with something "radical"...not a fan
David Maio WilliamsJan 09, 2013 Dreadful. Grille is gross, clumsy and wildly overstated. The entire car has lost it's elegance.
Miko ReginellaJan 12, 2013 All I'm going to say is that I hope there will be a facelift soon...
Erick MacCormackJan 10, 2013 They dragged out the tail lights way too long. It looks terrible.
Lorenzo MartinJan 10, 2013 Front is not bad just a little getting used too but the rear and the taillights horrible. Looks more cheaper looking from the back
Jonathan TjandraJan 10, 2013 Its just like the mazda2 sedan but the mazda look more better than this
Jonathan TjandraJan 10, 2013 WTF?! What is happening with your good design lexus?! The previous model way more better than this, this thing is look really awful
David MarkhamJan 10, 2013 I never saw the first concept pic, but this looks like a decent facelift to me. Certainly looks more purposeful.
Justin JohnsonJan 10, 2013 It looks like the same body style but front and rear updates, the hype is gone from the first picture.
Carlton Sofocusedon GreenJan 10, 2013 I like what they did with the tailights. I dont like the connecting fender line but thats just concept art anyway. Itll never make it to production.
darrellbell24Jan 10, 2013 @shaniqua
looking like Rasputia from Norbit
Nick KnollJan 10, 2013 When will Toyota get that adding fangs only makes there cars look retarded, since there trying to make the most boring driving cars look agressive, fangs don't fix numb steering and boring driving dynamics *caugh camry*
darrellbell24Jan 09, 2013 @shaniqua
I'm getting ashy from just looking at yo dry ass
darrellbell24Jan 09, 2013 @shaniqua
well with a name like yours you have no right to call anyone a dumbass except your parents you fat a** , pig looking piece of shit
Danny M. WongJan 09, 2013 Front is an Audi. Rear is an Acura. Good job Toyota
Timothy HookerJan 09, 2013 ahhh...it just keeps getting worse the more I scroll..
Benjamin HardawayJan 09, 2013 I don't like it. Maybe I'll have to wait to see it in person or something.
Shaniqua LatishaJan 09, 2013 Because Darrell everyone has an opinion and it does not have to be the same as yours
Chaz NealJan 09, 2013 Like the back kinda tsxish but not the front
darrellbell24Jan 09, 2013 I loved everything until I saw the rear.... how could you all say this looks good??!!!! its absolutely horrible and this is coming from a current IS lover. I hate this new rear. Lexus, please, don't you ever put this into production. Just because you want to innovate doesn't mean make it ugly....
Bhavin AminJan 09, 2013 The tail lights should be taller in height then they wouldn't look too bad. Right now it looks like a TSX from the rear.
Hope they make an IS-F coupe. They will have to do something really unique to beat out the M3, C63, RS5, CTS-V
Zaire WilkinsJan 09, 2013 Wow the rear is better than the GS
John SerelyJan 09, 2013 I like the front...but the rear lights are horrific. Someone forget to tell the taillight designer that they were designing taillights, not tail-and-side-lights
Greg KenerlyJan 09, 2013 I like the rear better than the front.
Taylor LittleJan 09, 2013 These tail lights should be head lights.
Paul SmolinJan 09, 2013 Looks very ugly don't know how can anyone see anything good looking in this rear
Matt PiccoloJan 09, 2013 That back looks sick! Hopefully they return the stacked exhaust on the is-f again!
Brock BulbulJan 09, 2013 I personally love the design. Very fluid, very feminine. Not a guys car to me though.
Ryan FaberJan 09, 2013 ....I hope it looks better in person :/
Ryan FaberJan 09, 2013 Im sorry but what were they thinking??? How did the back half make the cut? Lexus needs to take it back to the drawing board. This is coming from an IS fan too.
Alex RenaudJan 09, 2013 I like how the line carries through from the taillight down to the back of the side skirt.
Daniel AnglevikJan 09, 2013 Damn!!!! How on earth would anyone choose an Audi A4 over this??
Cant wait for a testdrive
Dirk Austin GreerJan 09, 2013 I like it. That back end is very fluid and beautiful.
darrellbell24Jan 10, 2013 @jason
Hahahah....you are right...I love how I missed that ONE PITICULAR sentence...lol I feel emberassed
Pablo HerasmeJan 09, 2013 Side profile looks a bit boring
Connor ShortJan 09, 2013 I feel like the back (from this view) is a mix of an ILX and a Lancer
Jason BrownJan 09, 2013 Darrell, read the article. They said Lexus made the car roomier.
darrellbell24Jan 09, 2013 why would you make this car any smaller lexus. I road in the current IS rear seating once , and I literally had to sit sideways just to make my legs fit so the idea of making it smaller is just beyond me! !!!!
Artie StowellJan 09, 2013 Sometimes you have to see it in person. I hope this the case, because this looks awful!
Brendan BellJan 09, 2013 They really overdid the wraparound taillights
Matt PiccoloJan 09, 2013 Shelby, I must disagree, I think that line looks great, it's unique. I think this looks great
Shelby CassandraJan 09, 2013 I don't like the body line going up and joining with the taillight. I don't want my car to be terraced.
Kenny KuangJan 09, 2013 The is lost it's appeal long time ago and this will not bring it back.
Serge PankratovJan 09, 2013 This is where lexus and i will part ways. Its been a good run. The LFA is done with and looks like they butchered the new IS.. In my opinion, of course.
Chris GainesJan 09, 2013 makes the back wheel look tiny lol
Daniel AnglevikJan 09, 2013 I see a lot of the IS250/350 wish is a very good thing. The DNA is about to be shaped
Mohamad Al AlshaikhJan 09, 2013 I see a lot of GS from the back. They cloud at least made different taillights
Jason BrownJan 11, 2013 Since Lexus, not Audi was the first to use LED in and around the headlights, they should be allowed to use them and make new shapes with them.
Jon AshleyJan 10, 2013 The middle class man's LFA. Nice!
Justin McLeodJan 10, 2013 plain and sIMple, yet refined. lookS like a very cOmfortable and ergonomic place to reside beHind the wheel. One thing i would Redo is the logo size on the wheel, too big imo. plus if you get iN and accident You'll be lexus branded for life. hehe;)
Jonathan TjandraJan 10, 2013 I love the interior more than the exterior
Justin RouthJan 10, 2013 @Alex what are you talking about dude. Lexus is a luxury brand before anything else. Just because this is performance oriented does not mean it shouldnt have cup holders. I bet 95% of these will be daily drivers and people will want the cup holders
Jacob BurfordJan 09, 2013 Lexus's are always nicer inside that out at least!
Timothy HookerJan 09, 2013 they always get the interior right I will give them that. . minis that giant symbol on the wheel of course
Zeus MochaJan 09, 2013 Agreed influenced by the best interior IMO
Alex RenaudJan 09, 2013 Cup holders? Cup holders have no place in a car that is meant to be driven hard. So what does this say?
Zaire WilkinsJan 09, 2013 Hmmm pop up nav is here to stay
John SerelyJan 09, 2013 ...over ze Germans or caddy, but this is spectacular. I can't wait to read the reviews
John SerelyJan 09, 2013 This might of sold me on it. The LFA had one of my favorite interiors of all time, and this is HEAVILY-influenced by it. And it looks like it had a similar tach, which completes the deal. I would have never thought I would consider a Lexus over...
Pablo HerasmeJan 09, 2013 The Lfa mabe gone now, but it left with a bang on the whole brand
Jacob LerklintJan 09, 2013 This might be the best normal car interior I've ever seen
Jimmy WilliamsJan 09, 2013 Absolutely love all the new Lexus interiors. Different while still looking high quality.
