It's not a full second slower it is 0.1 second slower. The S7 is not about being the fastest. It is a drivers car. I think the S7 wasn't tested with the launch control.
Ok, forget about the s8. I think MT posted the s6 from 0-60 in 3.6s. If the s6 and s7 share the same engine why is the s7 almost a full sec slower? Who to trust? I still doubt mt #.

@Tin you're looking at 420 hp vs some 520 underrated hp I saw a vid maybe by the smoking tire can't remember where the dyno says maybe audi underrated the s8's output
The S8 does have about 100 more horsepower than the S7/S6, and doesn't weigh a whole lot more. Also, the RS6 Avant is a European model, so even though it is an estate car it probably weighs less than or the same as a US model S6.
Audi performance figures are so fishy. MT posted s8 with 3.5 0-60. And this article had the s7 at 4.7 from 0-60. I'm sure the s7 is lighter than the s8.
S7 rated at 4.5 0-60. Not A7. And that's likely conservative. C&D did 3.7 in a S6, which I just bought. Would love the RS7 to come stateside.
Don't get the 4,5 sec to 60 statement I doubt the a7 weighs much more than an a6 wagon
I see these all the time! And every time I see one i love it even more! Its beautiful.
The A7/S7 is one of the most well balanced nimble car I have ever driven, even more so than the BMW grand tour and Benz CLS. A RS7 would be absolutely amazing.
In my opinion, the side profile and rear 3/4 are the worst views of this car
