Nissan's hot-selling, UK-built crossover gets some updated equipment and trim in the 360 edition.
While some carmakers streamline their global product lines, Nissan offers a variety of different vehicles in different markets. And Nissan being Nissan, that includes a wide range of crossovers. In Europe, that includes the Qashqai, which has just been announced in a new trim level. Called the Qashqai 360, it's available in 5-seat Qashqai or 7-seat Qashqai+2 form, and offers a generous array of standard equipment, replacing the n-tec+ trim, which accounted for 60% of Qashqai sales in the UK last year to outsell the entire Ford Mondeo range.
The equipment list is highlighted by a 360-degree around-view camera system that lets the driver see everything and anything that might be hiding in the blind spots that come with any crossover and integrates sat-nav, Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone compatibility. It also includes 18-inch Onyx alloys, tinted glass, a panoramic sunroof, partial leather interior with contrast topstitching, gloss black exterior trim and more. Buyers can opt for a range of powertrain options, including gasoline and diesel engines, automatic, manual or continuously variable transmissions and available all-wheel drive.
