Bugatti Gangloff Concept Inspired by Type 57 Atalante

This is one designer's take on what a present day version of the one-off Bugatti 57 C Atalante could look like if it were to reach production.

As Bugatti continues to develop its follow-up to the Veyron, many in the automotive design community have come up with their own unique ideas as to what the brand could also do in the future. We know that the next production Bugatti will be a sedan but Polish designer Pawel Czyzewski has dug even deeper into the brand's past for his latest inspiration. Called the Gangloff Concept, this is a design study showing what a modern version of the one-off 1938 Type 57 SC Atalante Coupe could look like today.

Say what you want, but the design is nothing short of striking. It also takes many styling cues from the Veyron inside and out. We particularly like the pronounced front fenders and rear shoulders along with those LED headlights. Its long hood looks incredible along with that rear split window. One of Czyzewski's design goals is to revive the golden era of handbuilt creations. He further stated that "In times of commercial trash and plastic it is hard to see something that has a soul and is able to squeeze out a positive mark on the heart." Bugatti should hire this guy, like now.
