With the S60 Polestar, Volvo
is attempting to get back into the fast car market. The last time it did so, with the likes of the T5 and T5R, the Swedish carmaker sold more cars. And its new Chinese owners hope for a similar trend when Volvo finally turns this sublime concept into one of six fully-fledged production cars. To get some perspective, Harris pits the limited-run development car against the best high-performance small saloon car on the market: the C63 AMG that packs 487 hp and 442 lb-ft, compared to the S60 Polestar's 508 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque.
