The difference between this and the Veyron are the drivers. On has got sideburns and is blasting Pantera and the other is wearing an ascot and has a dog name Jacques, also with a matching ascot.

I agree with Shivash. I respect the Venom GT and what it has accomplished, but if I had the money I would go with the Agera R. The Agera just seems like a better package overall even though it is slower.

Remember every body panel is reworked kinda like the Koenigsegg's ford engine. The chassis is clearly not lotus because its been completely stretched and fitted to a v8 instead of a non British Toyota I4. This thing is about as British as the real one.

This is not an everyday car. It's got a roll cage and is setup for mainly track use. Is there any footage of it going around a corner? Compared to a Veyron (for example) you can use that car everyday. It's comfortable / luxurious, has a degree of usability and was built as an engineering showcase.

I am not surprised that it's so much faster from 0-300 than the veyron. becouse the veyron's weight is nearly 2 tonnes. And i'm guessing this is about 1,2 - 1,4 tonnes. The veyron is luxurious and it has got 4wd. The henessey has none of that.

I can't argue that koenigsegg motors aren't influenced by ford technologies, but I can maintain that koenigsegg has been building their own motors for over 7 years now.
@william the agera's motor is actually the second to be developed and built in house. The ccr used a 4.7Lsc ford modular v8, but the ccx (2006) used a 4.7L twin supercharged v8 manufactured by koenigsegg themselves.
Take that Europe it's based on a lotus I admit most of it is not a lotus anymore

Felix koenigsegg was using a modified ford engine from the beginning, they stopped with the Agera motor, motor in the Agera is there first ever fully developed and built in house motors, it has dimensions and tolerances used from a ford racing block... take your own advice Felix
