Front is ok though any lower it could become a snow plougher! The back is a complete mess to be honest. Doesn't look prestigious and the Boomerang lights are huge!!
Looks like everything else Caddy makes. I like the overall design, but they need to evolve it to be a mix of hard edges and curves...
I'm not a fan of the whole design language that Cadillac has right now.... If I was offered a choice between a Caddy and one of the German competitors, I'd be goose stepping straight over to the nearest Bavarian autohaus!!
IMO the front is perfect. The rear... Decent. I don't think it's bad, but it could be better
All they'd have to do is slightly update it then blam...we have a caddy super car.
@john yes it is that bad. It has a 13.6L v16 engine with a 1000 horsepower. Even using "fuel saving measures" it would be lucky to get 12 mpgs. I think this car is awesome but I couldn't even afford to fill the tank
@stephen it used cylinder deactivation and other fuel saving measures so it wouldn't be that bad
Thats cause people are getting smart about spending there money on a car, now they actually compare cars instead of buying based on the badge at the front

They're substantially ugly in person too. They're just like a squished 3 series. A very squatty and awkward car overall

Im 32. Had 4 caddys before 25, and looking at a 5th. Caddy is moving back up the ranks. People can talk all they want, but facts are facts. With all aspects considered, i'll take the caddy over a german money pit.

Sasa caddy smokes them. Why pay 20k more for a slower car with the same luxuries. Im not even going to go into the depreciation and cost of ownership on german cars either.

Its not that hard considering bmw and merc arent really that great of cars... thats all they are is another car company, andncadi ats already beat the 3 series in comparos and the current cts v is directly on thenheals of the m5 in performance, not to mention i think there interiors are alot nicer to be in, bmw and merc use nice materials but there interiors are boring as hell

And the ATS is a direct competitor of the 3-series. So unless Cadillac can make an entirely new persona, their best bet is to make direct competitors to BMW/Audi/Merc. Sucks that it has to be like that but they need a new personality.
Cadillac needs to make more varying sizes and powers in order to efficiently compete but they're almost already started to get confusing. They have a 5 series (?) competitor in the CTS. Then a pseudo cheap 7 series competitor in the XTS

Lol rarely see a 30-45 year old driving Cadillacs?! Where do you live? A bunch of 35-45 year olds drive Cadillac CTS' and such in my area! And there's 3 CTS-Vs by me and one CTS-V wagon which is badass
All CTS's are RWD. Not FWD.
Well, if I'm not mistaken, theres an AWD option for the XTS. This could compete with the S350 4Matic. I'm sure that later there will be a V8 in the XTS.

The xts doesn't really have a competitor due to it being FWD and the cts is somewhere between a 3 and 5 series. The cts needs to get bigger to directly compete with the 5 series and e class

This will be another fail attempt by cadillac to lure younger customers. Cadillac will always cater to older drivers and i rarely will u see 30-45 yr olds driving a cadillac. Look at past failed models like the Cantera and even the XLR
Brilliant idea about a CLS/A7 competitor.
CTS V does compete with an M5. But a 7 series costs a decent amount more then the XTS... So I can't really say they compete...
@dimitry I would not say so. It is more of a DTS!STS replacement. It is a soft, FWD car with a V6. Not near the german flagships
Yeah the base CTS costs about the same as a 5 series, E Class, and A6
Cts competes with the 5 series if i remember correctly or atleast the cts-v does with the m5

Well they already have the XTS, which is the 7/8/S competitor. They just need to make a V8 version.
Cadillac has stepped up so much. All they need now is an R8/SLS competitor, an M6/CLS/A7 competitor, and a 7 Series/S Class/A8 competitor
