The taillights are pretty nice, but the headlights are terrible. Too much going on. And it's proportions from the side are terrible. Disapproval. I vote for 3 series

I think Lexus went with this design because they were tired of seeing their cars clogging the car parks of golf clubs around the world. Way to go!

We can all say we're disappointed in Lexus, but can we just focus on the actual car? I think it looks great regardless of how similar it looks to the previous model. You show this car to any average joe person and they'll say this car looks great.
Jason, with all due respect there's absolutely no truth to anything you've said. The Japanese designs of late (think Lexus and Infiniti) are based on a much bolder design approach, whereas Germans tend to evolve and enhance.
The new BMW design is so fantastic and bold. But when Lexus does it to even more extreme, people say it looks the same...
That's what they are hoping to do, implement the new design language to make the brand more uniform. The same trend the German rivals have been doing. I think it ridiculous when BMW changes a very small aspect of their design and many people say
I agree Justin, this car has more of a makeover look than a redesign. The doors and greenhouse look exactly like the previous generation. The front looks exactly like the GS and LS and holy crap don't even get me started on the rear of this car.
I am so disappointed. The car looks exactly the same as the outgoing model but with a new front and rear end. No wonder it's the same engines, I bet that's the same chassis
