I swear I saw this today (3/2/13) in Weston, FL. It was silver with no camo and there was a family in it.
This is the Domestic K7 the next size larger than the K5(US Optima). It already been out in the market since 2009. Before the K5 and K9.

Similar to the Azera price range (Granduer in Korea). Not as nice as the Genesis, especially here. The Genesis domestic model has so many more options.
Yea i know im hoping he returns to his original design philosophy before its to late, kia motorsports program is doing great and it be a shame to see all that racing expierence and all that they learned go to waste
William it will continue that trend for a while. Peter was officially just announced VP of Hyundai and Kia design team a couple of days ago.
Kia big problem is in the looks department, there performance has improved greatly and so has the quality they just need there own unique look, they were going in a good direction withcurrent optima and the first gen forte, but now there getting all squishy
Not kia, there suspension used on there sx models has already proven competitive in racing... kia suspesion problem is its either to stiff or its to soft.. and there brakes are far from bad now, they were used in stock form on both the optima and forte race cars
maybe help is straight line, but all Korean cars suffer from bad suspension & lack of efficient brakes !
It's got nearly 300 hp..... That's decently aggressive... (Though the FWD limits that to an extent)
I think aggressive styling should be left for cars with aggressive output.
I love me a nice kia, but this still needs some work, that front shouldnt be flat like that, and the headlights need a little more agression in them

Guys go read the newspaper sometimes. The same designer who designed cars for Audi has been working for Kia/ Hyundai for years now using HIS own original variations of designs for Kia and Hyundai. Please go read something besides carbuzz.
Kia and all other copy cats should be sued.. They make me hate cars altogether...
Everyone bitches so much about interior, looks good to me. Sorry my daily driver isn't a BMW, Audi or MB so I guess I don't know what a great interior is.
I'm not a huge fan of Kia, but they must be doing something right when they had 30% increase in global sales for 2012.
This car was designed over 4 years ago. Besides the color choice which is only available for the overseas market, what looks out dated? Look carefully at the console and the electronics. It's similar to any new entry level mid size sedan.
It also looks like something an elderly person would enjoy. Extremely boring and utilitarian. I would not be enthusiastic about waking up in the morning and having to sit in here. Yuck yuck yuck.
Life is officially over if you're signing the dotted line for one of these. Next purchase will be a casket.
