Life is officially over if you're signing the dotted line for one of these. Next purchase will be a casket.
Bader Al Ajeel Jan 16, 2013
Cadence is better
Drew Humphrey Jan 16, 2013
Cadenza isn't a good name.
Bader Al Ajeel Jan 16, 2013
Got a problem that because im a brony?
Bader Al Ajeel Jan 16, 2013
Of course im a brony dude
Joshua Rutkowski Jan 16, 2013
I was expecting a pony.
Bader Al Ajeel Jan 16, 2013
Is better for me
Bader Al Ajeel Jan 16, 2013
The name... Cadence
Bala Uncc Jan 16, 2013
Would take genesis over azera
Gray Conron Mar 02, 2013
I swear I saw this today (3/2/13) in Weston, FL. It was silver with no camo and there was a family in it.
Tom Wolfs Jan 18, 2013
Just another copy... Looks a lot like that DeTomaso Deauville doesn't it?
Adam Thomson Jan 17, 2013
Kia makes cars look much better now than the the old cars they made!
Tyler Chess Jan 16, 2013
The qoris or however you spell it needs to be brought over not this!!!
Jason Brown Jan 16, 2013
This is the Domestic K7 the next size larger than the K5(US Optima). It already been out in the market since 2009. Before the K5 and K9.
Colin Caton Jan 16, 2013
Prefer the optima
Alex Bouckley Jan 16, 2013
Looks good to me
Matt Piccolo Jan 16, 2013
@ Zach, I agree, the Taurus is easily the best. I wouldn't even consider the other 3, they're all tied
Rodrigo Allen Jan 16, 2013
Nothing special here. Moving on...
Zachary Maurer Jan 16, 2013
I think the Taurus is by far the best looking, this is second on the list
Matt Piccolo Jan 16, 2013
@ John, I'd have to disagree but that's just me.
Ahmed Barrasali Jan 16, 2013
I think this will compete with American cars not European or Japanese!
Steven Luginsland Jan 16, 2013
Definitely boring...
John Serely Jan 16, 2013
@matt compared with its competitors (azera, Avalon, taurus) I think it is by far the least boring
Bader Al Ajeel Jan 16, 2013
Looks like the new altima
Matt Piccolo Jan 16, 2013
Boring
Jesse Jalapeno Jan 16, 2013
I don't like the wheels
Bala Uncc Jan 16, 2013
Looks just like optima

3.3 liters beating many 3.7's
Jake Trumbull Jan 17, 2013
Hyundai
Jake Trumbull Jan 17, 2013
Pretty good power numbers for a hyandai
Brad Henson Jan 16, 2013
6 spd ftw

Similar to the Azera price range (Granduer in Korea). Not as nice as the Genesis, especially here. The Genesis domestic model has so many more options.
Kyle McCullough Jan 16, 2013
Probably about the same as an azera. So like 30-33
Sam Reinsel Jan 16, 2013
Good question. I would assume around the same as the Genesis.
Christian De Prisco Jan 16, 2013
Ok ok it's decent, but how much is it?
William Downs Jan 17, 2013
Yea i know im hoping he returns to his original design philosophy before its to late, kia motorsports program is doing great and it be a shame to see all that racing expierence and all that they learned go to waste
Jason Brown Jan 16, 2013
William it will continue that trend for a while. Peter was officially just announced VP of Hyundai and Kia design team a couple of days ago.
William Downs Jan 16, 2013
Kia big problem is in the looks department, there performance has improved greatly and so has the quality they just need there own unique look, they were going in a good direction withcurrent optima and the first gen forte, but now there getting all squishy
William Downs Jan 16, 2013
Not kia, there suspension used on there sx models has already proven competitive in racing... kia suspesion problem is its either to stiff or its to soft.. and there brakes are far from bad now, they were used in stock form on both the optima and forte race cars
Ahmed Barrasali Jan 16, 2013
maybe help is straight line, but all Korean cars suffer from bad suspension & lack of efficient brakes !
Mike Wisenburg Jan 16, 2013
300hp is not bad. I like it in black
Sam Reinsel Jan 16, 2013
It's got nearly 300 hp..... That's decently aggressive... (Though the FWD limits that to an extent)
Trey Villarreal Jan 16, 2013
I think aggressive styling should be left for cars with aggressive output.
William Downs Jan 16, 2013
I love me a nice kia, but this still needs some work, that front shouldnt be flat like that, and the headlights need a little more agression in them
Connor Short Jan 16, 2013
The first thing I thought was 7 series
Rodrigo Allen Jan 16, 2013
It does, especially in the front. The rear looks a lot like the 7 series too.
Jack Howard Jan 16, 2013
In not seeing it
Bala Uncc Jan 16, 2013
Looks like Lexus LS
Scuttle Buttocks Jan 17, 2013
Take off that optima grill then you have something.
Dylan Bruder Jan 16, 2013
Just not for me
Adam Thomson Jan 17, 2013
I like it honestly!
Ferrari Italia Jan 16, 2013
I think it will age quickly
Aj Harper Jan 16, 2013
Needs some more sculpting. Seems pretty boring.
Aaron Crisp Jan 17, 2013
The 80's called, they want their joke back.
Tracy Keiser Dron Jan 17, 2013
Hey, relax.... Nothing was stolen from Audi... Their chief designer used to work for Audi, how's that steeling???? Idiots, be informed before you make a comment like that
Stas Allen Jan 17, 2013
Kia, Audi called. They want their taillights back.
Jason Brown Jan 16, 2013
Guys go read the newspaper sometimes. The same designer who designed cars for Audi has been working for Kia/ Hyundai for years now using HIS own original variations of designs for Kia and Hyundai. Please go read something besides carbuzz.
Barry Stewart Jan 16, 2013
Kia and all other copy cats should be sued.. They make me hate cars altogether...
Vincent Chen Jan 16, 2013
I hate Korean cars. They are so derivative of other designs.
Matt Piccolo Jan 16, 2013
Not feeling this at all
Jacob Lerklint Jan 16, 2013
I was just going to say that
Mati Araujo Jan 16, 2013
Audi A6 lights
Aaron Crisp Jan 17, 2013
I do agree it is dated. Didn't mean to explode on you fellas, sorry.
Aaron Crisp Jan 17, 2013
Everyone bitches so much about interior, looks good to me. Sorry my daily driver isn't a BMW, Audi or MB so I guess I don't know what a great interior is.
Jason Brown Jan 16, 2013
I'm not a huge fan of Kia, but they must be doing something right when they had 30% increase in global sales for 2012.
Jason Brown Jan 16, 2013
This car was designed over 4 years ago. Besides the color choice which is only available for the overseas market, what looks out dated? Look carefully at the console and the electronics. It's similar to any new entry level mid size sedan.
Tashfeen Masood Qayyum Jan 16, 2013
Outdated plus beige with grey looks terrible
Nameer Jameel Jan 16, 2013
Looks very outdated!! Fail!!!
Aj Harper Jan 16, 2013
Fail!
Barry Stewart Jan 16, 2013
Where is the creativity??
Shaun Conroy Jan 16, 2013
Reminds me of my 06 Jetta, except this is 2013!
Tyler Tarbox Jan 16, 2013
Overall failed attempt
John Serely Jan 16, 2013
Wow...it really is dated
Matt Piccolo Jan 16, 2013
Looks like an 05
Aaron Sparks Jan 16, 2013
It also looks like something an elderly person would enjoy. Extremely boring and utilitarian. I would not be enthusiastic about waking up in the morning and having to sit in here. Yuck yuck yuck.
Aaron Sparks Jan 16, 2013
Bala, that was literally the first thing I thought.
Bala Uncc Jan 16, 2013
The interior looks outdated
