M5 Cop Car Stars at BMW Welt’s Epic Delivery Day

24 BMW M5s are handed over on Europe’s premier delivery day.

BMW just gave their new M5 sedan a European delivery for the ages. Coming less than a week after the first M5 was delivered in the US, the new model was handed over to 24 lucky owners at their Welt facility and needless to say, the new owners were just as pleased as any. The new F10 M5 was heralded in by the German's M5 police car, a model that should not only help handle crime but look amazing doing it.

The sedan returns 16mpg combined (14 city/20 highway) and runs on a 560-horsepower 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8. The new M5 can sprint from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds and reach an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph. The event was put on by both BMW Welt and M-Power, as 22 members of M5Post collected their excellent new models. We're sure the Bavarian police will be thrilled as well.
